It's had the misfire for 2 years. The DPFE didn't fix anything.

I thought it would be. Or the emissions warranty, but the service advisor just pointed at the screen and said it isn't covered. I have no.way of knowing the labor time ford pays for the sensor, but it can't take more than 15 minutes to swap and 2.5 hours got me pist.

UPDATE: FIXED! Hose assy from air filter are to brake booster was the trick. With warranty expired, I decided to diagnose myself. No codes, other than random misfire, but detailed inspection found a loose joint on the hose assembly running from airbox to brake booster, at the sensor. It...

Same misfire on 2022/ice mountain/2.3. 2 different dealers, no resolution. It sounds like theories are coolant in cyl, or carbon buildup on valves. Doubtful on carbon, as random misfires were occuring on occasional cold starts when vehicle was <5000 miles from new. 48,000 miles on it, so...

Mine was still awaiting shipment when the dealer called to say it had arrived. June 8-13 was EDD. Arrived on the 8th. It was convoy to WV.

I almost hate to post this.. John at Stephen's Auto emailed today. 6 or 7 Broncos, including mine, were delivered. 1 June build, EDD 8-14 June. Still stunned.

That about sums it up. The more vertical the windshield, the more likely to chip, then crack. It's just accepted on many vehicles.
