  1. Fleeced by dealer. 2.3 Random misfire cool/cold start

Thx. I'd be OK with an hour, even. There was no P139C code, but tech noted it was "out of range".
  2. Fleeced by dealer. 2.3 Random misfire cool/cold start

I don't have the paperwork from the 1st attempt, but it a hose assy if I remember correctly. 2d attempt was different dealer that had it for a week. Ran every test they could, unable to find fault. Plugs were pulled and inspected last week, but the dusty coils showed no evidence that a human...
  3. Fleeced by dealer. 2.3 Random misfire cool/cold start

Anyone know the labor hrs on KA1ZSL200A replacement? Just the sensor, not the hoses. Thanks
  4. Fleeced by dealer. 2.3 Random misfire cool/cold start

Thanks for the info on warranty. If the same problem hasnt been fixed with them throwing parts at it, should the warranty be in play? The misfire is random, but every cyl is showing misfires. It's been doing this for 35-40k miles and I've never added coolant, so I don't have much hope for...
  5. Fleeced by dealer. 2.3 Random misfire cool/cold start

It's had the misfire for 2 years. The DPFE didn't fix anything.
  6. Fleeced by dealer. 2.3 Random misfire cool/cold start

I thought it would be. Or the emissions warranty, but the service advisor just pointed at the screen and said it isn't covered. I have no.way of knowing the labor time ford pays for the sensor, but it can't take more than 15 minutes to swap and 2.5 hours got me pist.
  7. Fleeced by dealer. 2.3 Random misfire cool/cold start

UPDATE: FIXED! Hose assy from air filter are to brake booster was the trick. With warranty expired, I decided to diagnose myself. No codes, other than random misfire, but detailed inspection found a loose joint on the hose assembly running from airbox to brake booster, at the sensor. It...
  8. Random misfire code, coolant found in cylinder

Same misfire on 2022/ice mountain/2.3. 2 different dealers, no resolution. It sounds like theories are coolant in cyl, or carbon buildup on valves. Doubtful on carbon, as random misfires were occuring on occasional cold starts when vehicle was <5000 miles from new. 48,000 miles on it, so...
  9. 🛠 1/17/2022 Build week group

It's worth it. I've been 1000mi in the first week. I wanted to hate this thing. Really. The powertrain (2.3, 10spd) has been a surprise. The trans software must've had a lot of refinement. The emotional lows are a distant memory, now, and yours will be soon. I keep coming back here,like...
  10. 🛠 1/17/2022 Build week group

Mine was still awaiting shipment when the dealer called to say it had arrived. June 8-13 was EDD. Arrived on the 8th. It was convoy to WV.
  11. 🛠 1/17/2022 Build week group

I almost hate to post this.. John at Stephen's Auto emailed today. 6 or 7 Broncos, including mine, were delivered. 1 June build, EDD 8-14 June. Still stunned.
  12. 🛠 1/17/2022 Build week group

    I probably should've mentioned it's a WV delivery to Stephen's Auto....
  13. 🛠 1/17/2022 Build week group

Auburndale. Built 6/1, EDD 8-14 June.
  14. 🛠 1/17/2022 Build week group

The smart money has late June for the next round of module mayhem. Then we can join the "shipped" but no one knows where it is, crowd.

That about sums it up. The more vertical the windshield, the more likely to chip, then crack. It's just accepted on many vehicles.
  16. 🛠 1/17/2022 Build week group

I'm having trouble with ordertrack app. Invalid VIN message. If I enter so much as the number "1" it pops the message. Ideas?

It's dark alright! Seems like deleting the transport ID number would increase the darkness.

Is the disappearing ASN a good thing? Mine vanished today...
