Ashlie confirmed that my VIN is part of the seat belt recall, and even though my “built” date was 6/28, they will not be able to sell it to me when it arrives. If Ford had shipped it when they actually built it in April, it would be in my possession now. Instead, bc of the complete and utter...
Because some people don’t know how to buckle their seat belt.
I’ve been waiting 3 years for this goddamn thing.
Finally it’s going to arrive at the dealership.
And it’s going to sit there collecting rust for another 6 months.
Because some idiot doesn’t know how seatbelts work.
I got the “built” and “shipped” emails (no baby pics tho), and both trackers show “Shipped”. I thought it looked weird that they were providing Mexican info. Probably a bad copy/paste. I’ll ask them again when I get home from work tonight. Thanks.
My Bronco finally shipped! When I talked to chat, they gave me 2 different rail car numbers. I’m not sure which one I’m supposed to use to track it. Can anyone please clarify? Thanks.
Hopefully yours is soon. Seems like they’re making progress on the backlog, though I know that doesn’t make it feel any better until you actually see yours move.
It’s finally happened. 11 weeks after my 4/11 blend date, I’ve moved from “in production“ to “built”. Chat says my new estimated delivery date at Chapman is 7/18.
(4dr OBX, 2.7, Lux, SAS, dual top if anyone is keeping track)
On the one hand, I feel the same way, and I’m happy for the people who are finally making progress. OTOH I get annoyed every time I see it’s a unit built after mine and I’m still waiting with no progress or information.
That’s gotta be infuriating, especially given the wait you already had.
I think I’m just over 10 weeks sitting built at MAP waiting for something to happen.
