The diesel sounds great in theory. But it was a bit anemic. I think the new 3 Liter V6 Diesel that the non-Raptors can be speced with outside the US would be better suited, but maybe a bit heavy for the front of the Ranger Raptor.
Yeah, exact same tires and size and pressure as with the Ranger Raptors. That's what left me scratching my head. Even the weight between the two isn't that far apart. On my trip I'll be playing around with tire pressure and see if I can find something that works. It won't fix the clearance...
Yup, we had a 1st gen Ranger Raptor. It was great, besides the constant problems with the Diesel emissions systems. We had to abandon three trips with it due to problems, then we sold it for the 2nd gen.
Tire pressure was at 18 psi, the same "default" pressure I run on all my rigs. In sand and...
I recently took out our new Bronco Badlands to the local offroad park to make sure that the new wheels and tires have sufficient clearance (315/70R17 on 8.5x17 ET30 with General Grabber AT3 and 35x12.5R17 on 8.5x17 ET30 with General Grabber X3) at full articulation, which it did. But to my...
As I have seen conflicting information about what is needed to make 35s fit on a Non-Sasquatch Bronco I figured I'd post my experience.
2023 Bronco Badlands 4 Door 2.7 V6 - European (German) spec
Spring and shock part numbers match US spec Non-Sasquatch Badlands with the 2.7 Liter engine...
Yeah, the behavior is odd. I also had amber DRLs when in park, which seems unlike what others are seeing. I wonder if there is a config change between the North American and European models, even though the lights appear to be the same physically.
I just tried changing the coding to 0404 and...
Does anyone know if the 2.7 Liter Ford Performance Tune would also work on European vehicles? I am assuming that the tune checks the emission certification and therefore would fail to install, but would like to know if anyone has tried that?
UPDATE: Finally got the issue fixed. Apparently this was a software bug in a specific BMS software version. I installed the newest version with FDRS after seeing a Ford service bulletin about this issue and everything works as it should now.

I successfully changed the...
It's 2024 now and it seems that the fitment issue with the rear crash bars still hasn't been resolved. I recently ordered a set and went to install them today. Fronts fit just fine. Rears don't. I tried a rubber mallet, then a normal hammer, then a sledge (carefully to not hit the fender). The...
One thing I forgot to mention. After making the change on Forscan I noticed that the amber DRLs stayed on for 10 minutes after turning the truck off and locking it. I haven't read about that side effect anywhere, but since I changed it back to white I didn't dig further.
I tried the Forscan change yesterday, and it worked on my 2023 Badlands. However, as much as I like the look, the amber DRLs are really bright, and I changed it back. Considering the height, that would be at eye level for most cars.
