Here is one more picture when by chance I was stuck at a traffic light behind my wife. So even pulled up right behind, sitting in a passenger car, the third brake light was still visible.
I took two videos this morning, as my wife was leaving for work.
This one shoes that there is very little pressure on the brake light with the 315/70R17 General Grabber AT3 mounted.

The second video shows that the 3rd brake light is visible. One...
The Icon high clearance bars fit with 35s. BUT, the rear bars don't fit without grinding them down. There have been several reports from others, including myself, on that, so it unfortunately seems to be a theme with the Icons.
We are just heading out the door on a day trip, I'll get some pictures from behind tomorrow. But here is one from the side I just grabbed in the garage.
The Badlands Non-Sasquatch is minimally lower than a Sasquatch, but higher than other trim levels. Also the tires I have mounted are the same size as the Sasquatch models got.
But I do agree, the suspension travel up front is pretty good for an IFS vehicle. If I recall the numbers correctly the...
Both the Bronco and the Pajeros were 4 doors. The two door probably would have don't a lot better with break over angles, but I am guessing about the same with just general clearance.
I wish they sold the 2 door here in Europe, we probably would have bought one since it isn't our daily driver...
Since when has it become a problem when people make observations about something? I think the thread has had a good balance of touting the virtues and short comings of the Bronco. Considering that the most direct competitor is the Jeep Wrangler, and the Wrangler was a benchmark vehicle for Ford...
I am German, but my step-dad was in the US Air Force, so we moved around between Germany and the US. Looking back I am happy we moved around, it gives a different perspective to the world. My experience has been that the military fosters a sense of community, especially at smaller bases, and I...
I appreciate everyone's input! It sounds like a lift and maybe some additional armor would be a good idea. I'll also be more conscious about the lines I pick and adapt to the vehicle.
I'll post a trip report once we are back from Corsica in January and let everyone know how it went.
As a side...
What would the Sasquatch package really change? The gearing change is minimal, and I didn't feel a lack of low end crawling ability. I also don't think the minimal suspension lift between the BL and SAS would make such a noticeable difference. Besides that, I have everything else that a SAS...
There is a pretty decent trail network in Corsica. Mostly single track, mix of rocky and dirt. Usually nothing crazy that a stock 4x4 couldn't do. But there are a few trails that get more tricky, one that is called the Rubicon Trail of Europe (Piste des seigneurs). But looking at YouTube videos...
I don't have any pictures from the offroad park, but it wasn't anything crazy, mostly dirt moguls. Most vehicles that drive here are normal 4x4s with no or minor lift. Big lifts and tires are not that common in Germany. Something like the equivalent of a stock 4Runner or Tacoma TRD Pro is pretty...
It's a European spec BL, but suspension is the same as the Non-Sasquatch BL in the US. Same part numbers on the Bilstein shocks and springs.
I hope you enjoyed Mineral Creek. I was in Colorado August and September and we rented some Tacoma's from Colorado Overlander in Glenwood Springs. 33's...
I did play with the GOAT modes, and also tried the crawl control. But I totally agree that a Jeep and Bronco are very different. The JK we had would seemingly go anywhere we pointed it, but on the highway there and back, the Bronco is the clear winner.
Overall we are still happy that we chose...
