The camper finally arrived! Got it all setup with an E2 weight distribution hitch with anti-sway bars. Took it for a short ride today to test it out. It towed easy!
It's horrifying to say, but I moved 41 years ago when just one year into high school. I could tell a lot of "old man" stories about how it looked then. :ROFLMAO:
The one we bought isn't an off road camper. We will use it more as a base camp than an overlander. I still want to do some overlandimg at some point. Might need to pick up a different camper for that.
That's fantastic! We looked at that and the Continental Divide route. Would love to do either.
We ended up buying a little camper. Gonna go to places like Moab and setup for a week or two to explore.

There are times that I wish I had lockers. I've slipped sideways when losing traction without lockers. I did make it up the wall at Poughkeepsie twice to the surprise of the Jeepers watching. You can check out my...
Having lived in Colorado for part of my twenties I know what I am missing. I envy you all who live near all that natural beauty! We have been considering spending part of the year there.
Trail ratings are interesting. There is nothing challenging in terms of obstacles on Imogene. It shouldn't be rated very high based on technical areas. I guess it is rated high because of the narrow shelf roads. You need to be able to back up down a shelf road if you come across someone going...
It might not bother you as much as you think. My wife doesn't like heights and was not looking forward to Black Bear. Once she got on it though it didn't seem as bad to her as she expected.
This is a bucket list trail. Like many southern Colorado trails it is not too technically challenging, but the scenery is spectacular! Plenty of old mine ruins to explore. Shelf roads with drop-offs to keep your attention. And scenery that is hard to beat.
Imogene is often done as part of a...
The Siesta Key Rum sticker will most likely make it to the Bronco. The Jeep trail badges won't. Our camper will have something similar to this mockup on it. Gotta have Sasquatch somewhere...
First night reservation. Just switched to Granger. A few thousand one way or another means very little to me. I just want to deal with someone honest. My original reservation dealer is slimy.
