  1. Ford engineers should just stop and ask why? It’s not hard.

If you are comparing passive safety devices that are designed to save lives to air filtration for mechanical devices longevity, well then I can only laugh. The majority of cars I've owned had no HVAC filter and the blower motors lasted the life of the vehicle. My fancy BMW E90 is on it's 3rd...

  3. “Used” Bronco for sale in Miami

Some one drove it 5 miles, thought it sucked, then sells it? Lol.
  4. Ford engineers should just stop and ask why? It’s not hard.

I just reverse spray mine with shop air. If it eventually gets a hole in it, then I'll replace it. Lol. Cars never had cabin filters until 20 years ago. Like air doesn't enter the cabin from holes in the body. I mean mice get inside the cabin all the time. Mice are slightly bigger than air...

But the key provides the same function as holding the lock button down for the same amount of time. I was just pointing out the E90 at least has the all-up function. Most BMWs do.

Because they are just a money grab?

  8. Water leaking from A-pillar airbag cover in heavy rain

Not sure how many here have previously owned a convertible top vehicle, but news flash, at some point water will find it's way into the interior. It's just what happens with a convertible. To expect otherwise is being unrealistic.
  9. Received letter on Customer Satisfaction Program 21B49 - MIC Top Replacement

Not sure if you had a vehicle affected by the Takata airbag recall. I had two cars affected. The time between when I received the official recall notice and the time the replacement parts were available to affect the repair was more than two and a half years. Another month or two should be...

On my 325i, the windows and sunroof can be closed by using the metal key (sides out from the fob) in the driver's door lock. Turn it clockwise and hold until all the glass closes. Or you can get IPNA and program the closing feature to activate.
  11. It’s 2024. Your second Bronco… what would you like to see?

Rear door that swings open, folds down, and has an electric glass window in it. The 1966 Country Squire had one; Ford's done it before. Yup, the spare tire needs to be mounted on a swing rack with a pivot on the rear bumper.

  13. Reasonable, Patient Person Weakening

I think Ford has been quite honest and open regarding a bad situation. You just don't like what you are being told, so you think it's not the truth. What would you like to know from the Bronco Team that would make you feel better?
  14. Ford Bronco manual take rate nearly 25%-report

I've bought in to the Bronco just because it is offered with a manual transmission and minimalistic options.
  15. Oil Change 2.3L lessons learned

Agree 100% with taking care of your own stuff philosophy. However, a lot of people just don't do mechanical activities and pay professionals to do it for them. Nothing wrong with that. Delving into Jiffy Lube is a different discussion related to the philosophy of the level of professionalism...
  16. No more Manual Transmission Broncos at the Austin Off-Roadeo

Oh BS. I dove a Ford Escort as my courier car for 4 years. 80,000 miles. Clutch was good as gold.
