my experience has been different than expected tooā¦.
I got my build week of 8/22 on 7/14 via Ford Performance chat. Dealer confirmed with my VIN that evening.
on 7/16 I received my āYour Vehicle has been scheduled for productionā email.
on 7/17 my Salesman texted saying they had a build...
Has anyone seen this? Iām not sure what Iāve found, but it appears to be final MY22 and Starting MY 23 dates.
I havenāt seen it anywhere else and it sure looks like it might be interesting to someā¦. Dated July 8 with a June 24 posting dateā¦...
sweet mother of all things, good and evil. Iām scheduled for Aug 22!
They may actually deliver this in the āsummerā as first projected. Or not. Weāll see, but at least we are all a step closer.
I hope yāall are as excited as I am!
Fastest production car lap time at Nurburgring (at last I knew) was a AMG 4.0 Biturbo V8. While is basically the ssme engine, it clearly wasnāt in a G Wagon!
these drag race videos of purpose built off road vehicles (mostly) are as pointless as running my GTS against its competitors on the...
Sorry for belaboring the point. I understand why folks donāt love the flares! I just get a bit snarky in response to negative comments (but yours were thoughtful and constructive) while I wait for my Raptor to get built.
I hope youāre right in aftermarket options for the BRaptor. I just...
Found it! Spy photo of a heavily camouflaged 2023 Bronco Raptor that resolves the flares issue.
They have put on big fenders all around and widened the cabin considerably. Looks awesome in the new Heritage Baby Blue!
Frankly Iām ecstatic that they didnāt widen the bodywork like the F150 Raptor. i plan on using my Braptor more on trails than the wide open desert. Moving all the painted surfaces 5-6ā out on each side will result in numerous scratches, dings and dents, and Iām just talking about in the...
Iām trying to get my head around what itāll be like taking my Braptor (looks like next year as Iām still unscheduled) on the Rubicon. The Braptor width is troubling, but that width is only an added problem at the axles/wheels as the body (without flares) is still basically a bronco 4 door body...
I just donāt see the point. Add 100 HP and this thing will still be slow as molasses and more likely to break something somewhere inconvenient. Itās just too heavy and the 37ās compound that. The V6 will never sound as good as a Jeep 392 V8 or G Wagen AMG 4.0 V8.
That said, everyone should...
Trail pinstriping shouldnāt be any worse than any other Bronco. The painted surfaces are pretty close to the same width.
The flares however, are going to take a beating.
Black does look great but Iām sticking with Code Orange. Iād roast in a all black truck during California Central...
Let me know if you see a bunch of Braptors sitting up on cinder blocks. Ha ha. Thereās rumored to be a wheel constraint and there seems to be a growing number of them āin productionā.
sadly mineās not even scheduled yet.
So I got the Canada and Mexico sales figures through q1 2022. 5979 and 1374 respectively. Total of 7353 Broncos sold. There are no other global sales other than re-export of local sales. Figure max of 2647 (very generous) sales in Q2 2022, that accounts for 10,000 Broncos.
Ruling out...
Good catch, the report says US sales. so Iām missing CA and MX (I guess) and production is all in the US. Iāll go looking for those numbers and see how that fills the gapā¦.. thanks
Looking at monthly Fordās Bronco sales, production and gross stock report on another thread, Iāve noticed production almost always exceeds sales, which would imply a huge inventory over time.
I totaled their sales and production since inception and there should be ~37,300 Broncos in Fordās...
