Tires are sitting at the dealership. If it really arrives on a Thursday I should be able to get it by Saturday.
I am going to have it towed to my house (to avoid salt) and Fluid Film the underbody, install rock rails, and clay bar the whole thing.
Also install my sunshade and synthetic down...
LOL - the Goodyears are straight garbage. They ARE made for mud and they suck in it. They suck on the road. They toss stones everywhere.
That's why I've got a set of Wildpeaks sitting at the dealership waiting on my Bronco.
I encountered a little resistance getting my order placed back in July of last year. I felt like I wasn't a priority......
Because I wasn't. They don't get any money for "taking an order" they get paid when the vehicle sells and they are well aware the wait is 6-8 months or longer.
What you...
Yep - it's exactly like the Bronco roll out. Which is what many on here have said all along - this isn't just a Ford thing. People can bitch about things and still be fans.
Teslas are awesome vehicles - deadlines are laughable to them, QC and reliability has been a major issue. Both are facts.
Nowhere did I say the car(s) are not excellent. I said they ship with parts missing - which they do.
The article is a fluff piece that acts like Tesla hasn't felt the supply chain crunch like other manufacturers. Maybe it's because Musk has conditioned everyone to listen to his bombastic...
Since October - I have knocked over a light pole, ran into a large boulder, and got it pinned up a retaining wall resulting in at least $3,000 in body work. Mechanically it's fine, and it has brand new tires. 1 owner vehicle.
Still - I was honestly expecting $6k. I figured since the Bronco was...
It is WILD out there folks.
I just agreed to sell my 2014 Forester with 96k miles, a front bumper that looks like it went 10 rounds with Mike Tyson, a passenger door that is peeled back like a tin can, and a mangled front passenger quarter....for $12,000!
CarMax. Offer is too good to turn...
If this "turbo lag" makes you second guess your move because it would be a "close call" then you shouldn't have made the move in the first place.
If it has changed your driving strategy - it sounds like it's for the betterment of everyone else on the road around you.
Interesting. My windows don't fog until I would get into the vehicle. I just crack my window and that generally alleviates the issue.
But 10 minutes probably lets your car warm up so you're comfortable once you get inside.
It didn't cause your engine failure but 10 minutes to warm up your vehicle is unnecessary. 60-90 seconds is all a vehicle needs to begin gently driving to achieve operating temps.
