There are two of them on the left ( gray one ) is speaker out and blk one on the right ANC anti noise ? By pass plug
Hope this help anyone looking fit harnesses and more
To dismount the heater/ audio knob console you...
I was just checking your blog on your build and remember I read it like 3 x while back , very nice writeup and great looking gear ! I hope to upgrade to DSP but I only had this LC series AC in my Xterra for few months and love it so much i was able to dial in front stage
I think i can buy for...
This is great info thank you so much it helps me understand part of the sub process ,mi actually never own the subwoofer in the car so it will be first time I will have it. Make sense tap in unprocessed
Thanks so much for helping in this
Well , i pulled radio console out and pulled left speaker wire input ( gray square plug ) only to find out my LLJ harness male plug wont fit , it looks very similar but slightly different on the outside ! I assume i need to plug my new harness in or do you...
Awesome ! Thanks bunch that makes sense I am 65 years old still love good sound but with new head units it’s bit confusing
yeah, I just spoke with Audio Control guys who I got amp from and he confirmed to just use one bunch of speaker wires from radio to the amp and ignore the other bunch and...
thanks for quick respond , yeah I have brand new 3 Wy front with new speaker runs , why case the dash had only midrange there and I needed to run tweeters
I spoke with Audio Control guys who sold me their amp and they said just run one bunch of speaker wires back to the amp and ignore the other...
Sweet , thanks for quick respond , I just spoke with Audio Control CS since I am running their amp and he confirmed same thing , just ignore other bunch of wires and don’t run ANC either.
I have not done wiring for so long and You seems know your stuff well.
I have one more question to wake...
Hello, wanted to pick few brains here in reference to upgrading new audio ( non B&O )
I ran brand new 14/16 G speaker wires to the kick panel and dash will run 3 way audio front stage only with tweeters/ mids in the dash and 6,5” mid bass drivers in kick panels.
Have all wired up and wanted...
LlJ side clearly shows two inputs in the radio and second one is ANC female , but I think is optional
My set up right now is 2 amps, 6 Ch main + mono block and 3 way front only I will Tri - Amp mid bass , mind range and tweeters 2 Ch for each.
I am bit confused with this harness since I am...
Well I got the harness yesterday you have suggested , but I don’t believe it will work for me , problem is I ran brand new 14 G speaker wires in my car kick panels and dash and looks like the way you run is one set from the amp to radio and other to the factory speaker wires.
After thinking this over I am going totally different route and building unique Transition Line subwoofer behind my from seats and since I delayed rear seats I have good space there. It will take full print of the floor area 48” long and only about 8“ tall with to ti line ports using 10” down...
The reason is that I have crossovers fur 2 way and missing Hertz
basically I cherry picked best components
this 3 way front stage will be Tri Amped meaning my AudioControl 6 Ch amp will power 3 ways
Hertz 6,5” and Voce tweeters wired to crossovers and midrange rainbow directly to the amp.
I...
Good question !
just like any roof racks up there , factory or aftermarket you will need some sort of winch ( lift ) to store your RTT
We got 100$ motorized winch sitting high in garage bay and can lift it off the room in seconds , sits on 2x4’s on the chains plus winch , very easy set up.
I...
Prinsu is great option for any Broncos up there. Easy assembly , solidly build here in US , great modular set up with many options and many cross bars , low profile with great load capacity. Picture of full size Prinsu on 4 door with XL Falcon Roofnest plus 3 fly rods storage.
a/d/s are nice amps and pre amps come from great hi fi home reputation
Personally i am behind DSP and just installing what I have since got brand new Bronco and still needs some lights , bull bar and more
But my components are hi end stuff german rainbows mids and Voce Audison up in dash and...
I figured I will never use 20$ driver so I just cut out fit perfectly there was nice foam Ring so that was bonus.
Kick panel wells have good size hole below the driver opening ( 3” below ) not sure what that is but from acoustic point of view its bad design. I will have to close it somehow. Now...
I am in process installing my new Hertz Legends 6,5” midbass drivers in kick panels
Problem is that you need new 6,5” rings to fin in exiting fit
Instead fabricating two I just cut the cheap exiting drivers out of original ring and done !
I was able to fit perfectly in same spot I did trimmed...
Working progress , all speaker and power wires are in
Next phase fabricating rings for 6.5” Hertz Mille Legends in kickpanels
And building amps/ crossovers rack
I delated rear seats and found perfect location using seat frame bolts to mount long plywood base than i will build out of ABS amp...
Love to see your progress. I am in process working on kick panel with new rings and patching holes under the speaker wells, so sad they ( Ford ) left holes there under the woofer, but it can be filled with material. Alos starting to build Amps rack its will be placed in please of deleted seats...
