Ohh that's interesting, yeah you should be good and is likely just an issue with the profile. Sometimes it doesn't capture everything properly the first time.
Regardless here's the link for the beta download
https://forscan.org/download/FORScanSetup2.3.47.test20220221.exe
I said this in my first reply above but there is a link floating around here for this. Let me see if I can find it faster than you and will update this post lol
What year is your vehicle? I know 2022 was having issues and needed to be on the beta version of ForScan (link has been thrown around here before). Otherwise you may need to re-load the profile when you first connect to the vehicle (select new vehicle instead of your saved one). Usually that...
Well the IPC is universal for all models (only an MT and AT variant) so I don't think you'd have any issues but I also haven't been following along to closely lately so hopefully it works.
I really don't recommend doing plain English changes. ForScan came out with those after years of compiled...
I found no differences in the ABS. I did find several differences in various modules though. I highlighted in bold all the options that would be on a vehicle from the factory with tow package. This is everything I could find and pretty much wraps up anything that should need to be changed. The...
I can do an AB compare of a vehicle with and without the factory tow package and see if the ABS module does highlight any differences.
Regarding the rear parking aid, I believe that might be a setting in the BCM and can poke around to verify
I don’t have access to them but if anyone on this forum works at MAP, I know there were some, they can get you a QLS report for your Bronco. It’s basically a list of any issues found during production and what corrective actions were done.
This will sound ironic because of the nature of the original post but y’all have sold me on your products for sure. Already had this in my list of things to buy next and with the customer support and dedication to product performance and satisfaction I’m buying that for sure now
Sport mode has a more aggressive throttle profile amongst other things but specific to your thoughts yes it would be more snappy.
There isn’t any extra power or anything it’s just multiplying your input a bit. Exactly the same as what these pedal commanders do but with a factory warranty and no...
I mean it’s always nerve racking writing a change but that one definitely is correct. Each mode is well isolated to each individual character you won’t lose sport mode or anything
It should be A as shown below if you want that mode. Sport mode would be the one next to it and would be B so in total on that third column you would have “ABxx” where xx represents the checksum. For reference my Sport mode Badlands is 760-04-03 0100 0203 AB1F (1F is the checksum and auto...
I mean technically it would be plug and play and drop in. The hero switches are referred to as SIMA (Switch Input Module A). Since it just has basically power and CAN I would imagine that there won’t be any errors or issues. It can’t enable something that doesn’t exist but it itself doesn’t...
It’s not. Only the intermittent settings have speed sensitivity. The low and high, which is where this issue exists, are not affected by vehicle speed. Not at all in the programming of those modes
I really don’t see how. They spent two years before release developing the programming of the PCM to use the various goat modes. They didn’t develop each mode to each model only to each engine. Even what the packages you have aren’t accounted for. The mode you select sends a message to all the...
The last two characters in a codes full line (in your case the 1B) shouldn’t be touched. They are the checksum and are automatically calculated by Forscan. You can put numbers in but they’ll give you a checksum error and will be replaced.
