Surprised I only found this thread today. Wonderful work y'all. Is the difference in exterior length not just the spare tire, which lines up being that the tire sizes are mostly 10.4" to 12" in width?
The dimension I want is from the dash / infotainment screen bezel to the inside of the rear...
To start, I'm not a fan boy of either so this is impartial. I briefly drove and was around an FJ about five years ago and while it seemed fine to drive, the interior was quite cheap. Not just the interior but I remember it better. Not that plastics are bad but the big buttons didn't seem high...
Yes, since moving to Houston I've been hit while at red lights twice in three years. I would like a steel bumper to save my time and an insurance claim on my record.
Well at least you aren't being dramatic or anything. Lol.
I thought about that too. One could mount the spare elsewhere if that was the case. Such as inside or on the roof.
My motivation for doing so would make the rear door weigh less as I need to get my tools out every day, plus less of a chance that a small collision would impact the spare...
Someone also mentioned that the trailer plug idea could make the computer think it's constantly towing something and could change service interval lights or powertrain characteristics, which both make sense as cars these days are advanced in other similar ways.
Merry Christmas to you too. I was meaning what was corrected in the customer's favor? Though yes I did get frankly mad about the price increase of the base four door though I have no idea who you were talking about ha.
Until the pricing increase the other day I was pretty content with a 4-door auto 2.7 base with mod bumper. If I do decide to buy it'll probably be that. The more I learn about modern off-roading the more I realize I would probably be best served by swapping in helical LSDs along with new gears...
Nah, I think I'll continue to vent that we were misled for months on pricing. Normally I'm in your shoes but this is ridiculous and I'm pissed. For the base 4 door the auto was standard and included. Meaning, I had no reason to think the auto prove was overlooked. The 4 door was already...
This is the first time in this site I've been mad and complained. The base four door just shot up $1,595 for the auto (only option for tranny).
Ford, I'm pissed now. I don't say that lightly because it takes a lot to get me riled up. You listening? Yeah, you just fucked up. The other...
Wow, that's real ugly.
Yeah, it looks like some low quality seat cover brand in my opinion. Hey, what to look ugly and two tone? And what about some camo to look really out of place?
Our "special holding lot" was "just put it in the back behind some overnight service customers because they're not taking delivery until next week" ha. We had gas on site but some do not.
Experience was working for Nissan for four years.
I've pulled brand new cars with the white plastic on them off the delivery truck and they're between 11-30 miles. I don't know why it's more than a couple miles as one would think but I assure you that this was the case for Nissan. I would...
Yes I haven't either. Common sense tells me the enthusiasts on here drive more aggressive than the average driver and that's why they're getting so many cracked windshields but I could be wrong.
I have had more flats in the past year than ever before though! To the point that I'm replacing...
And just like that I like white on the Bronco more than I did yesterday. Ugh.
Oh and I can attest about white cars being significantly cooler in the heat (Texas) from my years selling cars. It was always a remarkable difference jumping in one versus pretty much any color except silver or...
Yup. I'm an electrician and though I don't know much about car electrical, it's just DC and I can guide questions like that. I'll probably wire my own fog lights though I wouldn't mind if someone trail blazed and did them first so I could benefit from others ha.
