I went with a 285 on my OBX and I agree the ride is much better, but as expected with a more aggressive tread you get a bit more noise.
Not to mention the vast improvement in smiles per gallon. :cool:

my guess is that in 2015 (or earlier) GM was pushing Apple and Google to meet the need and Apple wasnt ready to scale car play.
I think GM has learned a lot about the exclusive integration of onstar and the limitations.
The public is reacting now to the change...
GM is moving to their product on the EVs, which offers a better integration to the vehicle vs flipping screens.
I for one am excited to see my phone content on my HUD.
I also hope they move away from on star with this.

Two things to try, one is using a solvent or fabric softener to loosen the fibers and then vacuum.
Another option is a cleaning gel/putty

if you removed the harness and resolved the issue, you could take a meter or test light to find the 12v source.
I would disconnect the plug from the lights leaving it attached to the truck then test it with the lights off, then with it on, you will quickly find which one of the wires is getting...
