Shout out to that service manager for not screwing you over. I am genuinely curious why people think the dealer is a superior service from their local shops. Sure, installing a FoMoCo part, I get it. But for a completely aftermarket part it makes no sense to me at all.

I went with no fill and the sound is a vast improvement. There is no "empty bucket" noise that I anticipated. As for the tweeter component I had no clearance issues with the Alpine SPE-6000 6.5 I think each manufacturer will have a different spec.
