The NBC article states that things will keep moving and even IF the offer is voted down (an approval is not a sure thing) then there will be another 3-4 week cooling off period before a strike can happen.
I mean logically, you would think that Ford would prioritize units that don't need rail transportation Wait a minute, did I use the word "logically", yeah, never mind. Go about your business :-)
Mine still hasn't hit the backdoor (nor do I expect it to) and I have had a VIN for 2-3 weeks. The backdoor order is still my original order not the updated one from Oct 2021. I think that has to do with how the dealer entered it into the system.
So, for what it is worth, I was given a build date today and not just a build week. I am sure the reliability is no better but it sounds better ;-)
10/7/2022
Well, you are going to be rail so that might be the worst possible case. I know my rig will have to go about 30 miles and I'm still anticipating a minimum of two - three weeks.
So, originally 9/26 build week and now 10/3 so we will see how that goes.
10/19/2020 reservation with the typical early 2021 and late 2021 order dates.
2D Badlands, 2.7 engine, non-SAS, high package, tow removed, Eruption Green
When they say it is in production they don't mean it's physically being built right now they just mean you have a production week scheduled typically. If you have your VIN, it is real.
Yeah, I may take the reason with a grain of salt. It is possible that it is a chip hold but literally the first I have heard of new holds because of chips. Surprising especially coming out of shutdown and the fact that it is a BB. I wish you the best of luck in getting your rig but I think if...
When you check either the backdoor link or the Ford page, what does it show. Mine shows the BD that I originally ordered although my VIN came as Badlands as it should have.
