I like the parking lights idea... why not have them on whenever the parking lights are on?! and saves a switch for some other coolness later.

Sounds like a great trip! I grew up in NM [Albuquerque] and lived in Alamogordo while I was stationed at Holloman AFB. We are very much looking forward to returning to the Southwest once our Bronco arrives.

I had a similar experience while at a Ford dealership while doing a walk-around a Badlands (and drooling just a little bit). A would-be "new Bronco owner" was looking at the Sport and asked, "so how does the top come off?". The disappointment was also evident in her face when she was informed...

Perhaps 5 to 7 years... which is really not too far into the future. total speculation on my part as is my estimate of when I'll be driving the Wildtrak I ordered back in February. :) Who knows, by then, I might have also been able to put a tank or 2 of fuel through my own Bronco. #optimism

Based on the many responses in this thread, there are clearly 2 factors [ok probably more, but for the sake of brevity, we'll go with 2]: business and emotion. Taking the emotion out of the equation, it is simply good business sense to be able to make a profit off of a purchase by selling it...

@LeshMcG I've seen a phrase used here in one of the forums... "Bronco fatigue". At first I chuckled, but I do believe, I suffer from "Bronco Fatigue"

I wonder if the easy answer is "no, we don't know anything more" which is actually a tactic to avoid having some of us move our orders to other dealerships where we may actually see a Bronco delivery sometime in the next year or so. Or is the information being shared by other dealerships...

Agreed... my assessment exactly. I'm a big fan of the HPR color since seeing it in person.

I dropped by my dealership [Mullinax Ford, Kissimee, Fl]... they had a Maverick in Hot Pepper Red. This color looks great [to me] in person. As we've seen, pictures don't always do a color justice. I'm here to say, the color is awesome and exactly what I was hoping it would be.

@timstrong20 I have not yet received my WT. Ordered 2/28/2021 [converted to MY22] with no build date info yet. Reservation Jul 21, 2020. I've decided I'm not modifying my build any further to increase the "chance" of getting it sooner. So, I'm gonna hang in and wait on it.

Oh and what a "joy" it is to clean up afterward! :p
