I know exactly how you feel. Where I rest my leg, it digs in like a nuisance. What's worse is that the they mounted the controller for my towing brake there as well, instead of more in the center, so my knee/shin hit that if I'm too far forward. Kinda aggravating.
Those that are saying it's a gimmick, that it only lasts a year, or doesn't really protect against anything are wrong on all points.
Ceramic coating is fantastic, but don't make the assumption that it's some kind of force field. PPF is better at protecting against debris, for obvious reasons...
It'll become mainstream fairly soon, I expect, as vehicles become more connected. I personally like vehicles with electronics, although I understand the analog crowd not wanting or caring for it (not that the new bronco is analog in any way, shape, or form).
The key disables if it hasn't moved in a bit. As long as you don't walk around the house with it, it'll be off.
Not saying a bag is a bad idea, though.
But why do the logical or smart thing when you can join the masses in bashing Ford themselves, and not actually solving the problem (not targeting OP; just in general)? Seems to be a trend with forums; the one for my motorcycle is identical.
OP,
I've only put about 5k mi on my Bronco, but so...
Rvinyl can get rekt. Had a couple bad experiences with them.
I don't mind Oracal for decals, but I'm not a fan when needing to do regular/larger wraps. AD and 3M are my go-to's for those, with more leanings towards 3M 2080. Have you checked 3M for an orange that is similar?
I don't think...
I installed the R/C hidden winch on my 2.7. It was...not fun. Also, the clutch is pretty much impossible to reach, so we had to fab up a solution for that.
From what I've seen, the 2.3 has a much, much easier time of it.
That looks great! I know what I'll probably be swapping out for if my RC hidden mount ends up destroyed like yours.
Edit: you have the 2.7 or 2.3? Their site has a link for the 2.7, but also says that it's the 2.3 version and the 2.7 is coming soon. Also, how secure is the bolt up, compared to...
Sport'll be better for the power delivery and it's a cheap alternative to the FP tune, so it can make canyon carving more fun. I've added it on my Badsquatch, but end up getting the FP tune eventually.
