I picked up my BL, 4dr., Sas, Mod Bmpr, Lux the first week of June. The upgraded steering would be nice, but I am most interested in the upgraded plastics.
It is really hard to understand how the current plastic could have been chosen to pass muster. It scratches so easily. It is the most...
My cowl is perfect, but I have a wind whistle coming through the vent in the cowl at 45mph and above that is super annoying. I have been in communication with Ford and my dealership. They will have to remove the cowl and see where it is entering the cabin. The last thing I taped off was the vent...
A quick way to see if this is your source, take some 2 inch painters tape and tape the cowl. There is not much there to tape, you will know right away if this is your source. I could not be more thrilled to have figured this out. I have a little over 800 miles since I picked it up two weeks ago...
I found the source of the leak. It is coming through the cowl between the hood and the windshield. I hope it is an easy fix. I am taking it to Two Rivers Ford in Mount Juliet, Tennessee Monday morning. This is where I bought the Bronco.
I found the source of the wind whistle. It took a while as I started out taping things off a little at a time. However, I finally found the source!! It is coming through the vent in the cowl between the hood and the windshield. I was getting really discouraged and this was the last part I taped...
Will you measure what comes out and replace with the same, add 6 quarts and let it be wherever it measures on the stick, or fill to the “full” line?
I know this has been discussed ad nauseam. Apparently the owner's manual says 6 quarts of oil, but my oil level is 1/4 above the "top-full" circle. I wonder if it was filled with 6 or 7 quarts at the factory.
I would assume that a newly built 5/5 Bronco would have the correct dipstick. Is this...
I folded both mirrors in, it did not make a difference. I opened the mirrors and taped the seam between the mirror and the mirror mount and it did not make a difference.
I put 2 inch painters tape around the entire perimeter of the windshield. It did not change the whistle, so I think it is safe to assume it is not a windshield leak.
I need your help and experience tracking down a wind whistle on driver's side that starts between 45-50mph. I have a 2023 Badlands, 2.7, MIC, 4dr, Lux that has 500 miles and is less than two weeks old. I have tried to track this light wind whistle down. This is what I have tired.
1. the roof...
I picked up my new Badlands, MIC, Lux last Saturday and I notice a whistle at 43mph and above coming from the driver's side windshield. My front passenger says they hear it coming from the driver's side only. I do not have the special side view mirror caps with the louvers. Has anyone else...
No it was there before I pulled the top on the way home from the dealership. I may place some painters tape around the window and see if it goes away as an investigative measure.
I picked it up last Saturday and have 525 miles on it today! The miles add up fast!
I have a slight whistle at 45mph and above from what appears to be around the driver’s side windshield. My adult son was in the passenger seat and says it sounded like it was only coming from the driver’s side...
I am going to give an example with my numbers.
When you ordered your 23My the Price level was PL315 your current invoice has a PL345. That is the MSRP, $59,987 (PL315) and $66,650(pl345) The "invoice" amount is factored off of those numbers. The simple way of what a dealership pays FORD is...
