I had a set of KOs, the early ones, on my 85 F-250. The front end of that truck weighs 3Klbs. I got 40K miles out of those tires, which is unheard-of on that truck. I'm sure there's newer tech out there, but I L-U-V BFGs!!!

I smell bullshit; 4WD is NO reason to replace all tires. If the nail is in the tread, it can be patched. If the nail is in the sidewall, the tire should probably be replaced. Take the vehicle to a good mechanic and get their opinion.

So uh, I have the dreaded cold morning tranny rattle, but there is also a cold startup rattle in the back, perhaps from the exhaust. It seems to go away once the fast idle goes down. Now I'm looking again at that stoopid flapper valve inside the stock muffler...

I tried ONCE with that fucking bag. Seems like it's about 1/8" bigger than it needs to be, and it needs to be about 4 inches bigger than it needs to be. Total PIA. I just bungee the tops to the back of the seats.
