I've had one of those since the '80s.
Do NOT get the "wall wart" Battery Tender, it's a POS.
I've got several of the orange/black, 4 or 5 amp Harbour Fright battery whammers (cain't git their stoopid web site to work) and they've worked great the last 5 years, or so.
I've got the MIC top on my 2 dr 22 Badlands, no problems yet. But parking is in the garage.
Taking the front "T-Tops" off is a five minute job. Figuring out whether to leave/take them is a bigger problem.
I bought a Rampage black soft top new for $825. Takes about an hour to swap out, and an...

It's not much louder, but after 24K miles, I'm convinced it flows better.
Yeah...we can only hope.
Hey FORD!!! How about a software update where ya'll put an ACTUAL TACHOMETER in the dash of my Badlands?!?
AND GET RID OF THAT DOUBLE HONK BULLSHIT!!!
WhoTF comes up with this crap?!?
I dint know what "4A" was when I was ordering off of ye olde interweeeb.
Onliest veehickles I ever had said "2H, 4H, 4L", and in Them Good Old Days; "N".
The Ford marketing crap just said "Advanced Transfer Case".
It was FREE so WTH!!!
Glad I did!
There's a video by that same Dad/Son team where they take a Toyota and a Bronco up a cross-rutted powerline trail.
The Toy just crawls up the trail with their default traction control, whereas the Bronco needs the rear locked to make it up.
Ford's traction control has a dismal time constant...
4H (or 4L) is NOT FOR TURNING ON HARD SURFACES, in the rain or not.
I don't think the transfer case chain is ridiculously expensive, but the labor to replace it sure as hell is.
Use 4A if you have it.
This would be a Good Time to familiarize yo bad self with 4WD systems...
My old man was an Oldsmobile Man, and we were always out in the East Texas Woods.
He REFUSED to buy a truck or any kind of 4WD.
Ever seent a 1970 Delter 88 stuck on an East Texas logging road?
Howzabout a '66 Cutlass?
This picture indicates I may have a long lost relative somewhere...
