Good looks on this. Needed another extrusion to work with the maxtrrax mount I got from another person and got 2 extrusions plus a bunch of tnut hardware for the same price as 2 from Trailrax.
Got my awning on, height is good. I kind of want it lower but even right now it will be lower than the RTT I want (FSR Aspen Lite) so it doesn't seem worth the effort of drilling more holes into the mounts to lower it since I hope to have the RTT in the next year.
Awning was a bit of a bitch to...
The level cargo area would definitely be appealing too because I sleep in the back quite often when I do enduros. Also being able to slide my fridge out when it's back there too.
Now that I have solid measurements that thing is so tempting but def tough to swallow at $700. That said it is the only thing on the market that can do what it does right now. Being able to store tools in there 24/7 nice and organized would be the best reason to buy.
I finally got my Trailrax...
damn I think I would just barely work with my ma bett table 🤔
I measured from the flat part inside the indent and I am just over 1.5”. You measured off a rib in the flat part which might make it doable. It would be damn close though.
And I think an even more lower profile bottom table like...
Since it shouldn't matter with this product or not, I am 6'2" and sleep slightly curled with the front passenger seat pushed all the way up on my Deep Sleep mattress. If I fully stretch I can touch the door but never feel cramped.
Definitely understand the width. I actually dented my fender in Mahwah because I got us lost on a quad trail and didn't pay attention for a split second. Threading needles is fun a couple times but when it's a full day of it it gets exhausting. That's where the Tacoma shines, nice and thin.
If...
Still stock fender liners too? If I just need new wheels and the max tire kit to run 37's I think I am okay with that, but still a bit more than I wanted for this rig.
But yeah I wouldn't run the Bronco on OFR, that would be reserved for the Toyota. I just am bummed with how shit the clearance...
IMO for those of you who are carrying cheap trail spares think of it this way. Do you want to replace a bent tie rod and then bend another just trying to get off the trail? Do you want to do the job twice (once on the trail and then again when you get home)? Just carry a quality spare. It's not...
How does it do up there and how does it do on the 37's? I took my essentially stock wildtrak to Rausch this weekend and the stock "35's" are not nearly tall enough, it desperately needs an antirock front sway, and maybe 37's. I was going down the 37" worm hole and it looks like I'll need the JKS...
(y) Makes sense. Currently I use a 5 gal jerry can with a pump in it for both, but having a drinking specific one would def be nicer so I am not constantly drinking hose water.
Ah gotcha, my parents got him the RTR and I have been pleasantly surprised with the durability. He beats the ever living crap out of the thing. Now my Tail Honcho that I am making more like my Tacoma I keep upgrading and breaking, upgrading and breaking, and I try to be gentle lol.
I am talking about the TRX4 body system on the Bronco with the interior body frame and the clips that you can do and undo by the wheel wells:
You can see the slots next to each tire. Yours is the TRX4 like this right?

Can you still keep the clipless body system with that frame?
My son's is looking ROUGH and I want to upgrade it a little for his bday but aside from the blown out shocks and him burning through motors it's been pretty damn reliable.
You can see how badly the body is beat to shit:
