Yeah - the "instigators/professionals" in Seattle (as well as most other large cities) Like to start at the University campuses because they having "willing" participants (the students)
Don't be under the false assumption that the "University Area" is a safe area. It's where a lot of the protests - riots - lunatics start there activities. As someone above said these same type of people see an SUV - it can certainly become a target for there shenanigans. Stay safe.
1) I noticed in the video of the Bronco factory build process - they show "integrated" turn signal lights on the mirror. I just got a 2026 OB and it does not have them. When did they take them out and was there a reason? Seems like it would be mandatory for safety.....
2) If your Bronco is...
Has anyone found a nice "leather like" arm rest cover for the center console? I've seen a few on Amazon but most of them are kinda butt ugly with all kinds of designs. I just want a plain old Faux leather looking one to keep my dogs from scratching up the original.
Thanks!
OP here:
Out of all the tips I think the one I like best is an extension off the 2” Hitch Reciever. I got a piece of square channel that has holes in it - 20 inches long. I slide it into the reciever on my Bronco and it’s 22” to the top of the Reciever -placing the 34” TIre treads against the...
Just bought a SAS Outer Banks and I installed the hitch as mine didn’t come with it. I had to take the spare off in order to lift the bumper slightly for everything to clear during installation. I was able to lft the spare down off the mount - but it’s definitely a 2 man job to lift the spare...
I think I saw a thread on the front antenna but can’t find it now.
Is the OEM antenna replaceable with a shorter/stubbier antenna? Who makes it? And how is it removed - does it screw in? Do you have to take some stuff apart?
Second question - I’m used to the Satellite antenna being on the...
When you wash the truck does water reside in the seals - until you drive it down the road? To clarify - I’m not talking about water leaking into the interior - just “on top of the seals". And then I guess if you pull the top off after a week or so - is there still water in the channel?
Thanks!
I’ve had WeatherTech for years in many vehicles. They were among the first but now there are dozens of companies. A couple of things I really like about them is there easy to clean - it seems a lot of the other have Tire Track marks etc and they look cool - but it seems like they would be harder...
Desmolicious - this is the clarification from Mr Bell:
I don't have the current painted top version. Mine looks like a painted version of the MIC with the "carpet" sound deadening material. The Hot Head panels work with my version of the painted top. End quote
Apparently there are 2 versions...
Mr Bell - sorry - but I'm confused by what you said (if you could please clarify)
You have a 2025 (painted) that appears to be an updated version. But then you said reach out to Hot Head to see if there working on a version for the current painted tops?
Thanks!
Thanks everyone for the comments - VERY helpful! Looks like I'll be going with the painted top and maybe adding the Hot Head at some point. Again - thanks ....
I fully realize this subject has probably been covered in previous threads - but I think I would drive myself crazy reading through all the threads. I am looking at ordering a 2026 Outer Banks. I have read on some of the Bronco Top threads that some people think the painted top is quieter than...
