Thread 'My cheap solution to moving front camera due to winch/bumper' https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/my-cheap-solution-to-moving-front-camera-due-to-winch-bumper.54809/
About the fog light question. No, I didnt have the capable bumper, only the module bumper with no factory lights. I wired all of these into my overhead switch console, which was very easy to do.
Deployable steps are great. Probably gets noticed more than any other mods and is something...
Hi, I installed this way back in spring of last year, so it's been done for awhile. I will post a couple more pics below. Bottom line, I have not seen any need to add front springs and neither did my dealer, which actually did the install. Probably added nearly 12,000 miles on it since then...
Thanks, I appreciate the update. I took some time to put this together so glad it is still out there helping others. I have not been particularly happy with the Blackvue 900 as I have found the remote monitoring buggy. But yes this will work with any dash cam so that is good.
I dont recall either as its been so long ago, although I did find my backup file. Hopefully someone else can chime in. TBH, I probably will not have time to fool with it until Friday.
Wow. Well we are in good company then. If this happened to you and I (and is what we think it is) then there are bound to be other Android users. I will check again to see if my buttons do work.
For a quick background, about a year ago I used ForScan to make a few simple changes, mostly to enable Sport Mode and remove horn honks... However I did do one related to Navigation which was to enable the ability to add addresses while moving; and "maybe" one about home country (I can't recall...
Thanks, will try that shortly. I can't help but wonder if the android update caused this. I say that also because I used Forscan to unlock a couple of goodies more than a year ago. One of them was to allow Nav address searches while driving. Just a thought.
Yesterday we noticed some odd text when trying to use the Nav screen. Actually couldn't use it as most buttons would not function properly. The day before I received the improved Android Auto update which works fine, although didn't at first for my wife (hers didn't work until yesterday). I...
Ok, I will get back tomorrow to look at what other fuses I am using. But just so you know, I have a Oracle kit as well and it has a memory save function to make different colors, lighting patterns, etc. I originally had it hooked up to a fuse that is only on when engine on and it would always...
Did you ever get this figured out? Just now seeing it.... I assume you want this to be powered on all the time, which makes a difference on where you should connect it. Let me know and I will look at mine tomorrow as I wired in a couple of extra items in other fuse locations.
Thanks for the tips, per my post above I may give this a go this weekend. TBH, I never heard of "Zip Screws" but when I googled them I saw that they are basically the same as what I was referring to as "self tapping screws". Learn something everyday...
Update on the above setup. After numerous drives and trail use I determined the fire extinguisher is putting enough weight on the table causing it to rattle badly. No amount of adjustments could correct it on the table mounts so I have since removed it. The good news is the rest of the gear...
I have mine set to cut off after camera senses voltage of vehicle is down to 12 volts. Never had an issue. It cuts off within a day or two it seems. The biggest problem with this model is not the parking recording mode, it's the real time notifications. My app goes to sleep a lot and i have...
I can measure but it will likely be Friday as I am on a business trip today/tomorrow. But will be glad to when I return.
@Hockey13 Same with the seat belt bolt pics concerning taking a pic. I am not sure why you are having problems there though as I don't recall anything special about it. I...
