Ah. I see. Never heard of those Sumo Springs. Interesting concept. Problem is, i think these Eibach springs suck so bad that I can't see me ever taking a sumo coil off and it seems like a good temporary fix, versus long term.
I really want to find a way to stiffen the spring, maybe increase...
I have no idea if this is going to quote the guy above as I'm new to the forum, but curious about the spacers you mention. I take it the spacers don't make the Bronco taller, but simply makes the springs compress more and therefore more stiff?
Hi folks,
hoping to get some insight. I have a 2 inch lift using Eibach springs to accommodate 40 inch tires. All is well and good, until I load anything of any weight in the back of my Bronco. The backend sags so badly I can’t load much of anything in the back, much less be able to go...
To update this thread with what I ended up doing.... My detail guy came over and basically polished the blemishes out. They are completely gone now, thankfully. Although, I don't know what products he used. Appreciate everyone's input
Exactly, mine did the same where in the morning it might be a 1/2 up front, then later 1" in the afternoon. My shop ended up creating a modified part for the heigh adjuster that puts something or other back into the range of the OEM height so the computer could pick it up. It didn't seem to...
Hey folks,
I'm looking for some insight if you're able to help. I went up north this weekend to camp and it rained hard. As we were heading out from the camp we had to drive through some serious mud. My bronco was plastered with mud. I came home, unpacked and got to a power washer within...
Nice! Small world given that the forum has people across the world! I’m in Chandler here and there, but my wife is opening another business out there in a week or so, so I’ll be there a bit more - especially when we first open.
Well, it turns out that this is still a mystery. I went to the dealership for a Bronco event and he said to go drive it hard as it could be the springs needing to settle. It also could help it calibrate by doing so. So, yesterday I went out to the desert and put it through it's paces and it...
So in case others run into this. The shop who did the work discovered that apparently there's some sensor on the suspension that reads and angle between 30-60 degrees. When adding the springs, it puts that angle to 72 degrees and therefore the computer doesn't even see it so there's no flags...
Hi All!
This is only my second post after my intro post so really hoping someone can lend a hand. Here's the scoop. I have a 2024 Bronco Raptor with the Eibach springs on it on all four wheels to allow 40s to fit. Pretty straight forward. Only other thing that was replaced at the same time...
Thank you! I'm not quite sure yet. It's been a hot minute since I had my CJ7 and knew all the trails out here. I also don't know many people who want to go wheel so we'll see how it goes, but I'm surely excited to hit it!
Just found this forum on Google after buying my first Raptor a couple months ago. I've been eyeing the Raptor for awhile and did a 180 by trading in my Mercedes E63s for the Bronco. So, sporty sedan to trail capable rig.
Only way I told myself I'd change up my car is if I put 40s on the...
