I have a 4 door Badlands and also feel like the ride quality is pretty harsh. It's mostly the rear springs, it makes you keenly aware of every bump on the highway. Reminds me of a Tacoma I rented a couple years ago.
I'm confused because I know all the reviews say the ride quality is great...
That's interesting, I assumed any settling would just be on the front wheels that aren't being "braked". But now that I think about it, if you're in 4wd that probably does bind up the driveline anyway. I'll have to give neutral a try. Also I think if you hold your foot on the brake throughout...
In some of the offroadeos (they never told us at mine in Moab oddly), they've been telling people to put it in neutral, set the parking brake, then put it in park. I suppose the idea is you put less stress on the transmission's parking pall.
Personally I think it's unnecessary for most...
Just following up on this in case anyone runs into a similar situation... I got an email a couple days ago saying I'm being refunded the $200 for the Off Roadeo. Showed up at the same time as my 42,000 Ford points.
I never contacted Ford so I assume the system just reimburses you when it sees...
Hey all,
So after waiting nearly 2 years and still not getting a build date, I decided to purchase a Bronco at MSRP from another dealer, picking it up later this week. It was actually someone else's order on this forum who graciously offered it to me.
This is probably a dumb question but I...
I'm confused, is there anything you can learn from calling/chatting that you can't also get through the backdoor link?
Does the backdoor link take a while to update or something?
The X plan PIN isn't specific to a particular vehicle right? I don't see any way to generate a PIN specifically for the Bronco (or any other vehicle for that matter).
Except this memo doesn't talk about options at all. If I ordered a sasquatch for MY21, and the price of Sasquatch goes up for 22, will the certificate cover that difference as well?
The whole "dealers who sell more should get more Broncos" argument is dumb when there's a reservation/ordering system in place. You could use this same logic to say "well big dealers should have had more reservations/orders therefore why not just do it by reservation/order numbers"
If big...
The big question in my mind is whether price protection is going to apply to standard items that become "optional" in MY22. The modular bumper on the Badlands for example.
That's unfortunate to hear. I did the Moab offroadeo a couple weeks ago and I think we did about 24 miles. We had 5 Broncos in our group with 1 guide in the lead Bronco.
