  1. Are the SAS wheels bead locked from the factory or just capable?

That's why a lot of Ford's literature calls them "beauty rings". https://accessories.ford.com/products/2021-bronco-functional-bead-lock-ring-kit?refSrc=7049123692735&nosto=productpage-nosto-1-fallback-nosto-1
  2. Are the SAS wheels bead locked from the factory or just capable?

You'll also need a tire shop to remount the tires on the outside of the rim. Not all shops will do it.
  3. First Edition 2 Door Bronco Stolen From Garage! [Video Footage]

Mind if I ask roughly whereabouts they were staging the stolen cars? Also which PD was responding? I know response times vary greatly depending where you live in the metro area, unfortunately..
  4. Argentine Pass and Santiago Mine in Colorado

Santa Fe Peak and Webster Pass are both on my list! We may go camp up near the Montezuma area later this summer and try to do both in a weekend.
  5. Argentine Pass and Santiago Mine in Colorado

Wow that's really cool, I'm not aware of too many places you can still go inside of mines in Colorado anymore. Did you guys do some sort of official tour of the mine or was it just open?
  6. Argentine Pass and Santiago Mine in Colorado

Yeah I'm sure you could. I just have the normal Badlands with 33" tires. And only used my rear locker. Might scrape on the first rock obstacle a little if you pick a bad line. I scraped a little on the way up but picked a better line on the way down and didn't scrape. But that's what the...
  7. Argentine Pass and Santiago Mine in Colorado

It's an out and back trail for cars. The pass continues through to the Montezuma/Keystone area, but it's a hiking-only trail on the west side of the pass.
  8. Argentine Pass and Santiago Mine in Colorado

I think you could probably get a full size truck like an F150 up the trail. There are a couple switchbacks up near the top of the pass that are tight and would probably require a 4 or 5 point turn in a full size truck. I was able to use trail turn assist to avoid having to back up at all. I...
  9. What interest rate is everyone getting as of today?

If you're just getting a pre-approval you can just guesstimate the amount. When/if you actually go to get financing your bank/CU will ask you for a purchase agreement so you can see the actual exact amount you'll need to purchase the car. You'll have to get the dealer to send you a copy of...
  10. Argentine Pass and Santiago Mine in Colorado

Took a short day trip with a couple friends yesterday, thought I'd report back in case anyone else is interested in a relatively easy trail not far outside Denver. There's a network of trails outside of Georgetown, CO right off of Guanella Pass, which is a paved road popular with hikers and...
  11. What interest rate is everyone getting as of today?

Yeah I highly recommend just getting pre-approved somewhere and tell them you're gonna use outside financing if they can't match it. Unless you get some crazy low rate they'll almost always be able to match it. My dealer oddly didn't even try to match it and just told me to use my credit...
  12. What interest rate is everyone getting as of today?

They don't love it, but generally they should let you use outside financing as it's basically the same as you paying cash from their perspective (you just show up with a check from your bank). They prefer you use their financing because they make money off it. Usually they'll negotiate the...
  13. What interest rate is everyone getting as of today?

Rates are going up but that's pretty high. Are you financing through the dealer? Usually they're going to markup the rates pretty substantially. I got 2.75% through my credit union 2 months ago. Looks like it's 4.15% now. No membership requirements...
  14. Off-Rodeo Failure: No Manual Broncos Available

Have there been any reports of MT Broncos at any of the offroadeos? I don't believe they had any at the one I did in Moab. Not terribly surprising considering MT car rentals are pretty much non-existent in the US. And they're basically renting you a Bronco for like 6 hours.
  15. Bill Moore Lake in Colorado 6/24/22

Luckily the water wasn't all that deep and I did have recovery gear with me in case something went wrong. I also made sure to read trail reports from a couple days prior to going out and confirmed with others that it wasn't bad. And yes, we'll definitely be posting more videos this summer...
  16. Bill Moore Lake in Colorado 6/24/22

Went offroading up to Bill Moore Lake yesterday (outside of Empire, Colorado). Not sure how people on here feel about TikTok but my wife put together this montage of our trip, turned out pretty good IMO https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTR16XLDc/?k=1 Overall it was a great day with awesome views...
  17. Rear Too Stiff

Duh.. shows how much I know about suspension components. Looked up a proper picture of the rear sway bar and confirmed I do not have one
  18. Rear Too Stiff

Edit: nevermind this is the track bar...
  19. Rear Too Stiff

Interesting, I'll have to check and see if mine has that.
  20. Rear Too Stiff

I've never actually driven a Wrangler so maybe that's part of my problem. I've ridden in them several times and never recalled a particularly bumpy ride but maybe I just wasn't paying attention. But like I said, I have a 2000 Land Rover Discovery 2 that rides significantly smoother than my...
