Installed myself. I feel like rc stuff gets a bad rap, but honestly my only beef was the instructions on occasion weren't super clear.
Ride quality is the same as best I can tell. Very pleased with the end result so far
Got my wheels and tires installed today. Relations race wheels rr5s with 37" toyo open country rt trail. Honestly I'm happier than I expected to be with the combo.
Nope. not for months. Every now and then if I start the car in an area where there would be no cell reception at all, Iv'e seen it, but still I havent even seen that lately
Both of those sites say they dont list availability and that they are subject to that. Thats all I meant, I found one site that actually said whether they had it in stock and made it sound like its not READILY available.
(oh and they both seem to be on the outher side of the country... shipping...
I pulled this off to check something, and even though I pulled the bottom out first, it broke several clips on the bottom and a couple on the top. on the back of the part, it says M2DB S42906 AB319W but googling even just the part up to the AB I can't find anything.
I found a parts site that...
I used to get this daily on my 23 bronco wildtrak, but haven't seen it in several months.
I know probably not what those having problems want to hear, but I think maybe the updates have fixed some people.
Have you seen updates get applied automatically, and are you up to date with all the otas?
I'm struggling to understand or visualize what this offset would look like on the bronco.
I'm ready to pull the trigger on some wheels that are
17.8.5, -12 offset, (4.28" backspacing)
and I'm thinking of going with a 35X12.50R17LT for a tire.
The wheels are a good look, but I dont want...
The drop bracket was for the front diff, and I just need minor clearancing of the hole. I don't anticipate everyone would have the same problem. If I used holes as is, the diff was sitting too close to cross member for comfort.
I feel like a fair bit of the time it took me on the install was...
I did install it myself.
After finding a YouTube vid suggesting dropping the inside of the lower control arm instead of the way the directions say (pull axle nut and rock hub assembly down.
I also needed to clearance a hole on the diff drop bracket. The screws on top of my shock assemblies...
I was also considering the variant without the fake beadlocks. One thing that drove me nuts about some wildtrack wheels were the polished fake beadlocks. Luckily mine came with black rings, but still want something with that general look of the sort of egg shaped holes etc.
Another RC2.5 lift success
I've noticed its hard to get a picture of the actual gap... that seems to represent real world well. Front appears in this picture to be lifted more, but I dont think it is. Now just need to find some wheels
I really really like the scs ray10's or the variant that doesnt have the fake bead lock rings... but availability isn't good, and I'm terrible about keeping track of that. Anyone have recommendations for wheels like that? I've seen "lock offroad 10gauge" or something like that, but literally...
I am currently in the process of attempting to install this on my boss 3.0 wildtrak. The diff drop causes the diff to be approximately 1 mm (possibly less) from cross member.
also the stock bracket has captive nuts so you undo cross bolts and the captive nuts go with the old bracket. Am I...
