  1. Dashcams and mount rear camera

Im thinking about going with blackvue 970x lte +, or maybe viofo a229pro. Both support a rear camera, but not super pumped about losing the camera if/when I take the top off. (its a hard top if that changes anything) I've had a particularly bad time trying to find options for mounting. It seems...
  2. Low profile mudflap options

These would be what I'd go for if I knew I wouldn't have clearance problems. Maybe I should just go out to the bronco with cardboard or something and see if I can figure out if/where there would be interference.
  3. Low profile mudflap options

My wheels and tires supposedly hit the factoring running boards in some conditions when Installed. (I never saw how or in what conditions... just what the tire shop said... so I had them rip them off) I now run electronic running boards that have no problem with interference, but that being...
  4. Low profile mudflap options

Like using the typical same three screw holes up front?
  5. Low profile mudflap options

Do you by chance have a close up? What does mounting look like?
  6. Low profile mudflap options

Apologies, I have no idea what or if there is a better subform for this question, none seemed appropriate. I've lifted our bronco 2.5inches, and have 37's on it. Apparently tires will rub at full lock and under articulation. I'm hoping to find some mudflaps that help keep rocks off the side of...
  7. 2.7L Oil Change Tips + Replacement Drain Plugs

I had the ronin plug until today... when I couldnt find the little black screw in bit that lets the drainplug start draining. I have a UPR in my mustang, and its a bit slower to drain, but the mustang's oil pan situation is way way worse than the broncos. Pull the plug on my mustang, and oil...
  8. Anyone running ruthenium hx spark plugs in their bronco?

I recently installed ruthenium plugs in my mustang, and I'd say low end power and throttle response definitely felt like a signfiicant difference from the stock plugs. I'm impressed enough to try and find ruthenium plugs for the bronco, but it looks like NGK's site doesnt list any plugs...
  9. HOSS 3.0 Lift options?

If you decide to take it on, I'd also recommend getting some rust treatment liquid you can "paint" on bare metal. Something that impregnates and provides rust protection. I don't know the name of the stuff I used, but it treats rust and leaves like an oxide layer on the surface to protect...
  10. HOSS 3.0 Lift options?

The instructions say to pull top control arm out and undo axle nut to give you room to lean the knuckle down so you can get shock assembly out. If you instead install upper control arm first then remove the inner lower control arm attachment points, it's much easier to put the shock assembly...
  11. California Sold: FS: 2023 Wildtrak wheels and tires w/ sensors

Takeoffs from our bronco. Tires have maybe ~5k mi on them, one wheel (the spare has a little nick in it, I'll try and get a better picture of). All other wheels are basically in mint condition and show next to no wear. Listing them for $1,900 PICKUP only near San Luis Obispo, CA
  12. HOSS 3.0 Lift options?

I dont think everyone whos installed the rc2.5 has even said the bolts were the same problem I had. That really was no big deal. There were definitely things I'd do differently than the directions... things that make installing the lift a LOT easier to install.
  13. HOSS 3.0 Lift options?

From what I've seen, I suspect most anything that is a spacer or collar for non hoss 3.0 will work for hoss 3.0. I feel like people just assumed they were more different than they were. When installing rc2.5 the only real difference I saw, was that the studs on the top of coil over assembly...
  14. HOSS 3.0 Lift options?

Honestly I felt like at low speed, you can feel the individual knobs on tires a little more... And haven't driven a ton, but I think they may be a tiny bit louder at speed... But so far I'm happy. I've had two sets of toyo open country rt (not the trails) on my ram 3500 and they have been...
  15. HOSS 3.0 Lift options?

If you are referring to the rc 2.5, I'd say you feel like you are sitting up higher and probably have a higher center of gravity, but honestly even with the new tires and wheels and lift, I think cornering feels close to what it is before. I drove around yesterday and feel like most things are...
  16. HOSS 3.0 Lift options?

The 51071 is the one I installed. I'm pretty sure this is advertised as 2.5 but I believe the instructions pages say 2". I don't know how much it actually lifted my bronco, but seemed more like 2.5
  17. Any way to trim factory running boards / steps?

oh cutting doesnt scare me... I['m more concerned with getting the end peice off without destroying it. Looks like there are plastic clips or something I'm afraid I'll break.
  18. Any way to trim factory running boards / steps?

Got my 37's installed today... literally the only place that things would rub, would be the running boards. As of now, they are removed and clearance is great. I'm trying to see if there is a way I can remove the caps on the front end of the running boards so I can trim them up and reinstall the...
  19. HOSS 3.0 Lift options?

There is modification you have the make if you have heavy duty bash plates... But it's just making a hole that's there somewhat larger. No actual irreversible changes to the truck itself. Plates can be replaced so I'm not stressing it. Not sure id replace even if I reverted.
