The base is bolted down using the location of the factory D-rings. The fridge slide is not part of the $150 for the base. You should probably look for a slide that is made from your fridge if possible. Mine is an Iceco slide designed for my Iceco fridge model.
I ended up pulling the trigger a couple of hours ago on 2 10" drawers. I laid out all my recover gear in my bag I use today and based on the internal measurements, it should a fit nicely. I'll use the second one for camp kitchen gear. I didn't see where you could order the label kits though.
What did you order? I have 2 10” drawers in my cart but waffling on whether to start with a 5 and 10. The initial plan is recover gear in 10. Wondering if 5 large enough for kitchen stuff.
You will need a platform to mount it to. There are several companies that have platforms for the Bronco now. American Adventure Labs, JCR off-road and Goose Gear to name a few. Or you could build your own. Lots of examples out there. I did my own for now for about $150. Drawer storage next.
The Rallytop looks ok, but I don't like the fact that that it doesn't seem to have mounting points for a roof rack like the OEM or Anderson Composite top does. Looking at the Anderson Composite's site, they say 2 panels over the front seats, but in their pictures, it looks like a single panel...
Hey no worries. Thanks for the video, I ended up subscribing. Love your setup. I ended up finding a carpenter to cut plywood and then I did the rest. I also have the American Adventure lab cargo shef on order, so I will have a similar setup like yours. I’ll be mounting my battery in the...
It’s worth a try. I say that because some dealers installed them for buyers with the wrong mount or before Ford Performance resumed selling the kit with the updated mounts. That would ah e been January of 2022.
Yeah that's why I went with the winch plate. The modular bumper is so nice it would be a waste to swap it out. Also, check with JCR's website. I thought they were working on a mod to the winch plate that did not require relocation of the ACC and now its available.
On my first road-trip after relocating the acc, there was one issue where it like lost the location of the car in front of me. Since then it worked really well. It’s like it had to learn its new position. I’ve had a lot of long road trips where it has worked flawlessly, even in heavy highway...
