How wide do the boards need to be to act as door ding preventers? How far out are the doors from the rock rails?

Sorry, I mean the to the google docs build tracking sheet, not to an actual order. I was looking to see how many orders scheduled to build have a factory tow package option. Dealers always want you to take it off to get a quicker build date.

is it possible to get the tow package option added to the build sheet? Curious how many orders are being completed with that option.
