It was apparent to me that the rear plate leading edge went above the trailing edge of the front plate but...

That sucks that your dealership missed it. When I took mine in, the service manager and the advisor took the panels off and the three of us examined them. At least those are fine.

I have an appointment to get my new rear top replaced next week but I'm wondering, was the head liner in your new roof? I've been reading that they are coming without it sometimes and the person has to go back and have that put in as well.

The instructions are from Ford Performance but in the pictures of the file there's a Rigid Label on one end of it. The part number on the document is M-15200K-BRL / BRRL

There will be lots of different ways to do it. I used the Ford instructions because that was the easiest way to get it wired with the least amount of exposed wire possible but that's just my opinion. Take a look at those instructions and see what you think. Like I said, I'll post some more...
