Exactly! put all the parts in the box and send it in.
So I didn't watch the video yet but I'm very excited to as I love learning and figuring this stuff out. Thanks for doing this! Will watch it afterwork! (or maybe during work.... )
Alright alright. I had a little nappy nap and I feel better now. Moving on.
So I had them change my diff fluid in the shop yesterday in case some water got in.... good thing I did.
and I checked for binding at full droop, and there was none. @orion .... no I did not turn the wheels...
My god, it's not even click bait. MY BRONCO FAILED ME. It's MY BRONCO, set up how I want it, and it FAILED me. And now i'm working on how to prevent from happening again. with the modifications that I WANT on MY BRONCO. I know that there are a lot of people out there that can't afford the...
I
Meant that it was not a specific event or action that broke it. And after confirming today that there is no binding at full droop, it reinforces my theory.
Update... just tried turning the tires at max droop on a hoist.... turns smooth, no binding. Stabilizer disconnect on the hoist seems to have done nothing.... must need to be under load. It is a hard angle, but no binding. So i'm thinking its a wear over time thing. Will take the old one...
Yes, I'm going to match the 5 inch lift. With a spacer, you get way more droop, as the whole lift is on top of the compressing spring and strut. Where as if you get a whole new set of spring/strut, that movement is more "centered"? "balanced"? it's hard to explain... the spring will also be...
It's the Badlands Bilstein with these on top...
I know spacers are crap. But at the time, it was the only think I could get for Bronco to lift it where I wanted it. I'll be replacing them with Coil overs soon. I always knew it would be harder on my components.
Yes sorry, I don't know why I keep calling the knuckle an A arm.... my bad. What I mean is that ridding on level ground, my angles are good. The upper control arm is level because of the taller knuckle, and the lower control arm is good because of the diff drop.
But because i have a...
I like the clearance in the snow.... I'd rather keep breaking things haha. I'll just keep upgrading components. Some coilovers and then RCV shafts. Maybe some limiting straps.
With the diff drop and the taller A arm, my stock ride angles are pretty good. I think it's that I droop to far... Probably doesn't help that I always disconnect my stab bar off-road.
Man, out of respect for forum members I flat out said what happens in the video in my first sentence. "Well.... had to get towed out by a Jeep again.... Broke my right hand CV shaft Snow Wheeling again...."
I do get where you are coming from. But YouTube is Fn hard now and you gotta play the...
Sorry, I'll pick a boring title next time. Unfortunately that's the way of YouTube. I enjoy making videos and I want to keep doing it, so I need to play the game.
As for the changes, I'm looking into what I can do to prevent it, and would welcome a discussion. I'll be putting it up on a...
I have a 5 inch RC lift. I'm not 100% sure where it's happening yet. There's is a diff drop with that lift and a taller A arm that corrects the angles somewhat.
I'm thinking it might over extend when I have the swaybar at full flex, but not enough to bind, just enough to wear down...
