Hey guys,
I just got back from a 3200 mile round trip road trip to Moab, UT from Alabama for the off-rodeo. I thought I’d write up my experiences from the whole trip for others that have already planned or are thinking about doing the same. I’m going to divide this up into 3 posts. The first...
I mean, we've had delay after delay after delay for more scheduling, and this week it looks like we're only getting one week of scheduling, with existing VINs getting pushed to Oct.
This really doesn't seem like a huge leap, or a surprise. Not sure why you guys are attacking this guy. I mean...
I've got some good news and bad news...
The good news is, this isn't a problem that needs to be solved!
The bad news is, its not a problem because if you switch your build to include a mod bumper from the factory, you'll lose your factory fogs which means you'll also lose your factory fog...
It all depends on which commodities are constrained on each build. The fact that we are getting scheduling this week means there are configurations that can get built.
This is interesting.
Unfortunately I didn't take pics, but:
I think the demos that my dealer has also has this "fix" in place. There was some felt applied to a few areas on the support structure of the soft tops plus some plastic tubing applied. What was interesting is that this "fix" was...
Is this something that is meant to be a temporary install prior to a weekend trail trip then removed? If so, I could see using something like this.
If this is meant to be a permanent or semi-permanent install that stays on your daily driver during the week...no thank you. Hideous, as others...
@Panzer948 I also signed up for the Moab Off-Rodeo. Looks like I’m the day after you on Wednesday. We are driving from Alabama all the way to Moab. We’ve got jeep tours lined up on Monday and Tuesday. Can’t wait!
LoL, I know. It's like how the hell have dogs not gone extinct with how sensitive they are to tiny amounts of heat. Plus every review we've seen on this forum is that the A/C is not an issue at all in the back seats.
Oof!
It's not surprising that there could be more MIC delays. I wonder if the recent soft-top issues are causing another pause. Should be an easy fix on the soft tops.
-57 applying everything, but my interpretation is that you wouldn't double bookkeep items that are standard in other packages.
Like if you are a wildtrak build, you wouldn't also apply a negative for sasquatch, because that's standard on WT, so that should already be accounted for in the WT...
If you go base, you lose the ability to get the Mid package which is a great value. Maybe you don't care about those gizmos anyway, but man the mid package is nice.
