  1. Passenger Door and Fender Rubbing and Chipping Door Paint

I totally understand and agree with addressing the issue before repairing. I just could not see from pics that it was making contact. Did the dealer refer you to their collision body shop telling you it would not be covered under warranty, or were they referring you to them to get it repaired...
  2. Passenger Door and Fender Rubbing and Chipping Door Paint

The pics show door edge when open and closed but I don’t see where they are touching/rubbing.???
  3. Now this....you can smell the fuel pumping.

I feel your pain. Too bad that the 1 in a many had to be you instead of found faulty before leaving factory. I had a bad experience with new 250 6.7 few years back, 7000 miles in and the heads and valves had to be replaced. It took them some time but they were able to get it running like new...
  4. Do you have to sand to wrap?

For what it’s worth I just asked my buddy who happens to be with me right now, he’s been in the tint wrap business for close to 15 years and he said ā€œ Dont Do It!!ā€ . He said he’s been asked this by Jeep owners as well as others with textured bumpers and front spoilers and they have done it a...
  5. Auto-High-Beams are Enough for “Reasonable Suspicion”

Maybe I misunderstood, but you can turn of auto high beam in settings so you don’t have to disable them every time you get in your bronco.
  6. Anyone's black hard top "bleeding" on to the front windows and rear body?

Interesting. I haven’t seen that on my MIC and it gets clobbered by AZ Sun. My suspicion is that it may be some type of dressing run off from seals or accumulation of dressing/dirt under edges of seals that is getting washed out. Would definitely like to see any follow up on this. I would...
  7. Speaker Filters, Blockers

That’s a great very understandable description of what/how to set and adjust amp and speaker set up!!šŸ‘šŸ¼šŸ‘šŸ¼
  8. Question on Mabett Speaker Pods

Here’s a pic of top bolts, their position is no different than OEM pods. However the outboard corner on that angle for Mabett brackets protrudes about 3/8ā€ higher than roll bar. If that’s the problem, maybe just place a piece of adhesive 1/8ā€ foam over bolt heads???
  9. Question on Mabett Speaker Pods

Ok, so after looking at old ones, I think the same brackets are used for both the 2 and 4 door, only thing different is the bushing for bottom mounting bolt when used on 2 door. I also recall that if I used the supplied bushing without trimming and instead used a longer bolt the pod would not...
  10. Question on Mabett Speaker Pods

No problem at all with seatbelt it just swivels out of the way but like I said it’s only by about 1/16ā€. Mine are probably closer to 1/8ā€ because I placed a small piece of foam between pod and seat belt to silence any new rattle. Definitely do not need more of thosešŸ˜‚
  11. Question on Mabett Speaker Pods

Finding a bushing/spacer for bottom bolt I think would be easy to find. Let me go look thru my parts and see which brackets I used. I’ll get back to you momentarily.
  12. Question on Mabett Speaker Pods

Have you checked SSVs , I’ve heard no issues from 2dr owners on seatbelt or bottom mounting bolt.
  13. Question on Mabett Speaker Pods

https://a.co/d/i78ih97 I was trying but I’m not too computer savvy.
  14. Question on Mabett Speaker Pods

The plastic seat belt loop does touch but barely, it’s about 1/16ā€ too close, but in my honest opinion does not/would not interfere with normal operation or safety. I just snapped a couple pics. However I was just looking and I’m only able to find 4dr compatibility Mabetts.??? I bought mine on...
  15. Question on Mabett Speaker Pods

I have the pods on 2 dr. Came with a spacer/bushing standoff for bottom bolt that mounts pod to roll bar. However, unless they have changed something, the bushings need to have about 1/4-3/8ā€ shaved off or you will need to buy a longer bolt. Other 2dr owners have experienced the same thing.
  16. Tire size question for the OBX community (Toyo vs General vs Falken)

I’m running 275/65r18 Toyo AT3 on non sas OBX. No tread noise, wider tire looks proportional to wheel wells. My decision to go with this size was to keep weight closer to stock and so speedometer stays same. Tire poke is still inside flares.

    Ya like Grand Cherokee…..never happen
  18. Future Bronco Competitor - Chevy Grand Blazer

Oh no problem, I didn’t take it that wayšŸ‘šŸ¼ And I TOTALLY agree, lots of CNN news on the webšŸ˜‚. Was just curious after what I had read, and was looking for some validation one way or another.
