Yes. Thank you. That is what I did, as I am sure everyone else who might have been dealing with the ice. Shockingly the fenders are less flex-able than you would think. I was not really highlighting this issue/oversight (whatever you want to call it) to find ways of removing ice. Although the...
OEM fabric is 100% Twil.
I would not not take two extreme events (and they were very extreme) and doom the Ford ST to a life of sadness. It really is good, and the safari mode is the bomb.
There are fans of BestTop and would rather they made the ST. BestTop has an excellent reputation. I...
We had one heck of a couple weeks of storms where I live. Foot of snow day one. Single digit evenings. 1+ inch of ice on the tops of everything the next weekend. Including my SoftTop. It held up like a champ. The OME twill tops can handle winter weather. And from my experience so far... with...
Unfortunately from what you are describing, it is going to have to be resolved by the dealer. I have personally experienced asic's do what you are describing. Good news is that you're still driving. Good luck. Maybe let us know what the actual resolution is.
You were pretty harsh right out of the gate. It seems that you have not dealt with ice?
When getting ice off a car, you warm it up and the majority of it slides off. That does not happen with fenders.
I am pretty sure that anyone here in a winter environment (and those who experienced it) will...
I have been generally happy with the Bronco so far. (175 miles so far)
What I never though about was Snow and Ice. That is part of life where I live. Almost did not switch to a SoftTop because of weather here. The top had about an inch+ of Ice build up and it is doing just fine. However...
I live in NH and the ride to the CSX station in Spencer is quick. The part that has been taking longer (at least for me) is the transport out of there. Looks like they only do it once a week and if your ride shows up that day, it can sit there for a week. Mine has been there for 6 days.
Switched to a SoftTop for a few reasons:
1) The HT's were proving to be noisy (click, clack, pop). Worried that was going to be a persistent issue with HT's.
2) To speed things up. This worked for me since I got scheduled the very next week.
3) I was worried about a SoftTop in the north. I put...
I followed the thread on united road logistics (Below). God bless that individual who wrote up that guide. Shocked they were able to navigate without one. I would put money on it that you are also in Spencer Ma right now, since you were built the day after mine was...
Tracked her down to Spencer Ma. Sooooo close. Waiting on transport to the final destination. If I see that little truck icon appear, I am getting in the car and following it.
