In mass you can’t offroad anywhere. Exceptions are a few beaches and farms that open up to events now and then. You’re lucky.
A lot of guys head to New Hampshire for trail roads like you described.
Goosegear has a rear seat delete that makes the back flat up to the front seats.
Here is a kit to make your own trailer. Kinda neat.
I’d do the goose gear delete, a decent small dry tent and a storage box either on top or using the hitch.
You have a lot of reading to do here in the orders section. Reservation date is your spot in line. Ford will choose builds from the line provided their dealer has allocations available and they have all the parts to make them. If you’re a new res and have all the items that are creating issues...
All of the reservations similar to your build will be built first. Orders before yours may be pushed out further if they have a “deadly sin”. Hardtop, lux pack, towing pack, sasquatch, v6 engine etc.
if you want it fast get a 4 door 4 cyl. Plain Jane.
right now Ford’s capacity is less than...
No interest in tge Raptor. Auto only. 2 door only. Same power as a base bronco.
Heritage looks promising - probably 2 door, but no word on powertrain. I’d pay a premium for cool wheels paint and decals, but if it’s not meore capble than a BL lux it had better not cost a lot more.
Everglades...
The DR is cool and all, but I was hoping for. Bronco or Raptor R still. Something fun with more power. Like a Lightning - fast and fun for the road mainly, or a Raptor R - the Bronco Raptor with more power. The rumor is the F150 Raptor will get an optional v8 again soon.
If anyone would like to join me I’ll be drinking scotch by the fire waiting for Ford to get off their ass and announce the Raptor R with a V8 that unlike this regular lift kit won’t be a waste of time. WTF Ford
We had these same arguments in the 80s. Analog is clearly better, and not having a tach just seems silly. Ideally we could play with a custom dash. The small screen already looks dated in my opinion.
I would definitely consider a tack mounted on a picatinny rail or even a hood mounted one...
I like Garmin. Their products work well on my boat snd they’re American. Trying to figure out the vault feature.
Will the Garmin dashcams automatically backup all its videos into the cloud at night when I park in the garage with wifi signal? Having to manually login via wifi and drag and drop...
