nice Iām in batch 2 so just waiting on getting the call to drive on over to Texas to do a shop visit and install. How much more quiet is it versus the soft top?
no itās acrylic. Probably used a material called rowmark or something similar where the bronze is laminated to the face and the graphic is etched exposing the black. If they used the original badge to scan and trace the graphic to convert to a vector file⦠the production file itself could have...
I bought the badlands one from the upper left but I havenāt put it on. Itās nice from a distance, but whatever file they used for the badlands wasnāt clean so a lot of the edges in the graphics look jagged when you look up close. From a distance you canāt tell.
Iāve always used 91 but for normal driving pre tune vs post tune itās always been about the same without any change in drive habits. Only thing that reduced my mpg so far has been moving to a wider tire but thatās a given.
I have the same wheels . My thoughts is that you only have to replace 1/4 of the ring. Plus 4 pieces (or one complete ring) only costs about $60 so the replacement cost is roughly $15-20 for that section if you had to buy it. So far Iām pretty happy with the wheels.
I did ask Fabian about that not too long ago and he said that his and Tylerās version pinches that corner too much and since that corner is used as a rain gutter for the front seal, they dialed that angle back so it wouldnāt pinch.
Canāt wait to get my squareback in a few months. Iām probably...
I might be imagining things but somewhere in this thread after this fiasco started, I thought someone posted a picture of advās ownerās new business filing.
Personally I would still find a group to ride with just in case. I go up to big bear with at least one other. If you were just sticking to burns, then youād be fine with plenty of traffic to help if something were to happen. Heartbreak is popular but never a guarantee that youāll see someone...
Should ship the hard tops they owe adv who owes customers. Imagine the backlash if they sell the tops to new customers without fulfilling the preorders š
Not defending ADV in any way, but for months they were offering refunds. I got mine back with no issues at the end of April. But if 50% of the money went to invoices to APG⦠APG should be handing money back too⦠but nope. ADV at least gave some of the money back, but I havenāt heard of APG doing...
My buddy and I just bought this bumper and we installed his and had the same issue with the housing for the sensors. Did the other housing work? And if so, do you happen to have the part numbers?
Asfir is aluminum and JCR has an option for steel or aluminum. Pros and cons to each material. I would make the decision based on the extent of off-roading you plan on doing. As mentioned by others thereās plenty of options out there so hope the 6g community can help you decide.
Also some...
You can check out their instagram too where they constantly post fabrication updates. They post videos almost daily of fabrication . Nice to see videos of them building these tops
I recommend this :) have had no issues with this product. The hammerbuilt strut was good but I noticed the same thing happening that popopatty had in that it start bending some of the metal on the tailgate since there was so much pressure from the strut.
