hoping they come through tomorrow for you bud. Kind of happy I decided to drive halfway across the country at this point to have AD install it in their shop when it’s ready.
I think they’re always cutting the parts but it’s a matter of fabricating them. I wouldn’t say they’re on hold until April. I think more so the next batch may be shipping as early as April but I’d probably pad that by a month or two. We won’t know for sure until this current batch is ready to...
sure I got the powder coat email on 12/23 in case you wanted that info for tracking. Again two holidays in back to back weeks so I’d guess that would impact that process by a week. I’ll let you know when I get the next production update but here’s a screenshot of the email I received:
yup I got that email a few days ago. Because of the holidays I’d pad that for few additional weeks since nothing is going to happen until after new years most likely. Bad part is I am going to king of the hammers so probably won’t be driving to TX until mid February for install if that’s the case.
I still ride with one of the guys with the top . The beta tops or whatever you want to call it is still holding up well. Even if APG delivers the top, the short cuts probably taken to build it won’t be the same as these. Back when I was still on board (before knowledge of APG’s involvement) I...
apparently APG got paid about it 4.4m from ADV too or so then APG is also at fault. Both screwed people out of money. I was lucky enough to get my money back before this all went down.
I’d stay away from both companies.
fabian just told me it was almost ready to go to powder coat and a week later they posted a picture of a bunch of square backs about to be sent to PC. With the holidays … I’d imagine it’ll be a month or so to get all of through that process. Once they have it back they’d have to do final...
I’ve had this (well the non powder coat one since they didn’t have this option before) to limit the tailgate:

Cool cool I’m 256 but I’m in that batch they posted that was going to powder coat. Guessing sometime in January or February I’ll be making a road trip to TX.
Congrats you guys… I saw they just posted the next batch of square backs are headed to the powdercoater so soon I’ll be making a road trip to pick mine up.
yeah for the stealth fighter … the center ones fit fine… it’s the outlets that didn’t fit the cut out because of the cut out vs the plastic housing .
I had the ford steel bumper just as a reference. On the housing I had to dremel away part of the plastic so it would sit flush against the bumper. ADD told me they had modeled the bumper based on a bronco with a non-steel bumper so the housing was different
I have the stealth fighter and I wound up modifying the oem housing for the sensors. For the stealth fighter it seems to function the same as before on the oem bumper
Depends on the trails you are running and how often you plan to go out. For me I live in Southern California so I do a mix of different trail types. But ppf was the route I went. For me due to the frequency, it was worth it. But it’s really dependent on how much you want to spend and how often...
my bronco image will forever be of an invisible body. deleted the app cache etc on every update with no luck  even if i log into my account on my pc on a web browser it's invisible haha i still miss the old version of the app when everything worked.
For what it’s worth, I have been in active communication with Fabian and my top is currently being fabricated (order 256) and should be headed to the powder coater in a few weeks. If you’re in batch 2 of the square backs, that’s about where they are at currently.
He reached out to me to let me...
