  1. Mike levine confirms that winch will block camera view

I, too, have started drinking early.
  2. RIP Sean Connery

    Legend. RIP king.
  3. Bronco builds announced by builders

I don’t think the usual tuners that appeal to making pick up trucks and Mustangs go faster will interest the off-road crowd.
  4. Mike levine confirms that winch will block camera view

I don’t know how much use it is off the trail on a vehicle like the Bronco, but on something low-slung like a 911 or a Macan, it’s great in a parking lot so you don’t scrape the front chin on the concrete stops. OTOH, I just drive my 4Runner up until I start rolling over those things.
  5. Mike levine confirms that winch will block camera view

When you are driving up a hill you’re looking at the sky and the hood, so this would be great for helping you find the perfect line without the need of a spotter, or at least to make his (or her) job easier.
  6. Rock Rails

    Excellent. Those will do nicely.
  7. Front lockers, aftermarket? Disco bar?

My takeaway is you’re just gonna put yourself into a position where you are more likely to nuke your front CV axles.
  8. Let's help Ford help us.

I will say that things like I like e-lockers and sway bar disco are not mutually exclusive from a “base” model, especially when you’re dealing with what is supposed to be an off-road vehicle. Across-the-board what has killed off most SUV product lines over time was that the only way you could...
  9. Rock Rails

Back when I was a young boy, we welded our first set of sliders in the back yard for our 60 series. I’m pretty sure if you take the truck to a reputable 4x4 shop, they could fabricate something pretty easily.
  10. Front lockers, aftermarket? Disco bar?

If you don't have SFA, rear locker is all you really need.
  11. Gray Top Theories

What if they can't manufacture the panels and have them uniformly one color across production runs except for DDR Trabant gray?
  12. A Strong Opinion

AT is safer AND better off road than MT. I still want a Bassmansquanch.
  13. Rock Rails

You need a kick out. The skateboard tape is for a short woman.
  14. I've gone another route... :(

    That thing is bad ass.
  15. On Demand vs Full Time Auto 4x4 - what difference ?

FWIW, I don't see any real benefit of Auto 4WD that switches between 2H and 4H. 4H with a center diff is the the best way. 4H with no center diff is the second best option, but then you get drivetrain bind (but that's not such a terrible thing like some would have you think). I would love a...
  16. Will Wildtrak be adequate for moderate Colorado passes?

I've seen dudes do it in a Subaru and succeed. I've seen Jeep bros roll a built rig down a mountain.
  17. hi

Parent here. Two kids, one almost 20, the other 2. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER USE A 2-DOOR VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT A BABY. Your wife will leave you and you will live in a van down by the river.
  18. Anyone else daily driving a Sasquatch Bronco: POLL

Not necessarily, but anything that is very off-road capable is going to accelerate, brake, and handle like crap compared to a performance oriented car.
  19. Anyone else daily driving a Sasquatch Bronco: POLL

I already use a heavily modified off-road vehicle as a daily driver.
