Wheelbase needs to be longer for it to look better.
Not 4dr long, but somewhere in the middle. It would need the 3.0 of course or the 2.7 with some ZFG tuning magic, not them baby gains you get from the procal.
No gains from charge pipes unless you're running big boost/upgraded turbos. And at that point you need better charge air cooling that aftermarket intercoolers in the stock location can't provide.
Looked normal to me. Maybe even on the mild side.
I don't think you guys understand the intent of sport mode. It's for spirited driving. Canyon carving type style of driving.
Looks like they used a dynamometer to quote their stock and "tuned" gains. Ford quotes power at the flywheel. 392 is quite high for a chassis dyno, but all dynos are different. The gains are what matters. This unit does not change shifting. It's just a piggyback tuner, like a JB4 or AFE Scorcher.
The short term first owner wouldn't bother me. A lot of people buy these not realizing what they give up to be true convertible off-roaders. Just let the dealer know you are from out of state and they will know how to handle it. Ask them any questions you may have and they should have the answer.
For me there's no point in turbos or injectors/HPFP until I get a built transmission. Torque is limited in the ZFG tune to keep the transmission alive. So you may get more peak HP with turbos, but it'll still be torque limited.
I'm getting a built transmission first so I can run the full...
Whipple Intercooler, S&B Intake, ZFG Tune
I'm testing a set of CV Fab downpipes this weekend though. Hopefully they fit without issue. They should release to the public shortly after that.
