Oh yes it was very apparent the difference when I picked it up. First time I hit it on a slight curve the traction control kicked on - never happened before. The difference in the shifting is worth it alone.

Nope, wish it did. Also tried to disable it with Forscan and no luck. Others have had the same experience on here apparently.

I am not sure, sorry. I had a shop install because Ford says a dealership or ASE certified tech must install to keep the warranty. Not sure if it's true but I wasn't taking a chance.

Just did it - can confirm that this worked for me. 2024 Black Diamond. No more flickering. Everything - blinkers, reverse, park and brake lights - appear to work as normal (with the caveat that there is no amber turn signal). No DTCs on Forscan after making the change. THANK YOU Hawk7131!

I did the swap last weekend and just noticed the flicker today for the first time. Still have some time on my Forscan trial so I'm gonna give this a try today. Will report back soon.

Well that makes me feel better - that was the only thing I couldn't get Forscan to do. Just curious - any idea why/how? Did Ford intentionally made it more difficult to eliminate for emissions reasons? Or is it something else?
