  1. 3k Budget, what's the most fun I can have upgrading a 2025 2.7L OBX?

A good set of all terrain tires. 33” ideally. Unless you’re squatched. If so, then disregard.
  2. Admit it, your rig is a "mall crawler"...

Mine is equally comfortable in the Trader Joe’s parking garage as it is in the dirt and snow. I didn’t know we had to pick one or the other.
  3. Rust, corrosion in the "Salt Belt"

This is where I take my vehicles. They take it for the whole day and coat everything (inside and out) with their “fluid” coating. Door panels, inside the frame rails, everywhere. To the extent that it oozes out of every possible gap/hole for weeks and drips in the driveway. A real mess but...
  4. Rubber protection

  5. Bronco Team 2 door.

Does that base have the auto or manual transmission? Wondering how the gearing handles the larger tires. Currently have 33” tires on my base and considering 35” for the next set.
  6. Bad hardtop alignment on brand new HE

I have a 2 door but the peg holes for my front panels are misaligned and it means I have to angle the panels “just so” to get them off. Especially the driver’s side. There is a way to adjust them but it involves taking the interior trim off and repositioning the metal piece that has the peg...
  7. Bad hardtop alignment on brand new HE

This is normal. I know. Odd. But try not to look too closely at your bronco. I’d advise against looking too closely at the arrow stripe/crease alignment across the quarter panels and doors.
  8. Way To Go AMB!

I picked black because it was the next best thing to AMB. People hate on black. And they’ll continue to hate on black (and white and silver) until they realize Ford is bad a keeping colors model-specific. Eruption Green and Cyber Orange look cool and exciting until you see them on a rental Escape.
  9. Convince me to buy a Bronco

I was comparing anticipated long term reliability (not a huge data set at this point) of the Bronco to the previous gen 4Runner. I suppose I could compare to the Transit Connect it replaced, which would be a Ford-Ford comparison, but would certainly cast the Bronco in a more favorable light...
  10. Wheeling Gurus-which tire for off road duty?

  11. Wheeling Gurus-which tire for off road duty?

This! I have a set of Falken Wildpeak MT’s and a set of Toyo AT3. Thought I’d need the Toyos for winter driving. Put them on one season but skipped it this past winter. No need for the AT’s. Can’t recommend the Falkens enough.
  12. Convince me to buy a Bronco

You can get away with a lot in a 2 door with a small utility trailer. Hard to recommend a Bronco from a build quality/long term reliability standpoint. Neither are looking great from my experience and from what I’ve heard “off the record” from some service departments I’ve been to. Bought a...
  13. Bronco coilover spring specs?

Bumping an old thread to avoid creating a new one. I have a base 2dr, 2.3L with the added weight of a front winch/mount, and OEM skid plates. Any shots in the dark which front springs (which 6G trim?) would be a good swap to level it out a bit? It makes more sense to me to swap heavier springs...
  14. 35" Pizza Cutters on 2 Dr. Big Bend No Lift-Is this doable?

I’d love to see a photo of how this looks, along with the amount of lift you dialed in for the front/rear using the 5100s.
  15. Pizza Cutters

Agreed. I’d like the KO3 in that size. But I’ve been looking at switching to a set of black diamond alloy wheels (17”) when my Falken M/Ts are spent. That would give me the option to stick with the 255/80 or maybe a 35”x10.5” like Kenda offers…
  16. Pizza Cutters

Many here are mounting >10” wide tires on the base steelies. 285/75r16 are just under 33” and a little over 11” wide. 265/75r16 (31.6”x10.4”) is also a little taller and wider than the stock tires on the base. the aforementioned 235/85r16 (31.7”x9.3”) are the approx. the same height as the...
  17. Ugh, warranty work denied because of lift

I’m so skittish I’ve removed trail/ORV permit stickers from the rear window before taking my Bronco in for warranty repairs. Luckily(?) it has just been Ford’s undeniably poor design/QC to blame for the issues I’ve had…
  18. Tariffs- how do they affect Broncos? Not political please

It’s funny to watch all these Amazon and Wal Mart shoppers 👆 claim that “everybody wants to buy American” as if the option hasn’t already existed.
  19. Starlink Mount Kit for Bronco

Making monthly payments to “that guy” feels like a good way to hasten the descent toward a necessity for off-grid comms. But in that scenario, he’s the last person I’d want to have knowing where I’m at…
