  1. Thinking about Moving to a Tacoma (4th Gen)

It’s a tough call. The Bronco is a fun vehicle and the Tacoma can’t really match that. But it seems like the Tacoma better facilitates the fun stuff you drive to in your vehicle. So maybe that balances things out. 🤷 We picked up a 5th gen (2023) 4Runner TRD Off Road for my wife. So, this is the...
  2. 2.3L Ford Performance Crate Engine

Based on the QC on the rest of my Bronco, I’m genuinely happy this option exists. That way, when my meticulously-maintained 2.3 pukes out at 117k miles, I can fork over a few thousand $ to breath life back into this [fun, capable, but ridiculously and shamefully junky] truck. 🤣 💩 🗑️ Meanwhile...
  3. SHADOW BLACK Bronco Club

Swear to god, there is shadow black under there somewhere…
  4. What I hate about my Bronco, you? (edit) Or maybe I should have called it "What would you want if you were designing it"

At 35,xxx miles knowing that it’s been back to the dealer umpteen times for warranty repairs and I’ll soon be on my own. Loose body mount causing clunking sound Missing firewall grommet Detached rear window defroster wire Loose front sway bar link Broken driver seat recline lever Rusted steel...
  5. color faded on spare tire cover

No seatbelts!? Wow! Thats so cool. Let freedom ring!!! 😎 😵 💀 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
  6. color faded on spare tire cover

While you’re at it, unbuckle that seat belt and cancel your insurance. Probably won’t need those, either.
  7. Make My V8 Bronco Raptor, Ford!!! Things Done Changed!

I hope everyone’s big engine vroom vroom “truck nuts for president” dreams come true. Mostly so you’ll STFU.
  8. 2025 Base wheel tire options ( exhausted search , going crazy )

Your profile image makes a strong case for driving it with the stock tire size. But I didn’t do that either, because ground clearance is at a premium for those of us without the Sasquatch package.
  9. Big Beautiful Bill - Can deduct auto loan interest for US made cars (purchased in 2025 or later)

If it was actually beautiful, it wouldn’t require that label. Just like if AI were here to actually help you, the tech companies wouldn’t be dropping hundreds of millions of dollars in advertising space/air time to tell you how much it’s going to help you. 🇺🇸 😵‍ 🇺🇸
  10. 2025 Base wheel tire options ( exhausted search , going crazy )

I installed a set of 255/85r16 Falken Wildpeak MT01 the day I picked up my base from the dealer. The Falkens were great tires and safely took us across country (Detroit to Seattle and back last summer), through the wildest winter storm into Michigan’s upper peninsula this past winter, Silver...
  11. Let’s see where you’ve taken your non locked (3.73 non Sasquatch) Broncos

Love this thread already. Excited to follow and contribute. Pics incoming, but nothing as gnarly as @Baseaf !!! aftermath from today’s fun:
  12. best soft tops for 2 doors 2024 big bend

    *in tan, please @Bestop_Team !!
  13. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

The Falkens are truly great tires. Mine got a little loud at the 30k rotation but still had a good amount of tread. Just didn’t want to deal with the noise since we make a lot of weekend trips to Northern Michigan. I switched to the 17” wheels because I’ve always liked them, and the base...
  14. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

New shoes. BFG KO3 285/70r17 on black diamond takeoff alloys. These replace the stock base steelies with Falken Wildpeak MT 255/85r16.
  15. SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN BRONCO MENTOR

The Michigan Bronco Club hosts some fun events around the state including at Holly Oaks ORV park. Encourage you to attend one of these events to meet some folks but also to see how other Bronco trims/aftermarket parts impact capability. That’s assuming you plan to take your Bronco off road. But...
  16. Motor oil decal for engine compartment?

What really pisses me off (in addition to wondering about all the mistakes I’m NOT catching) is the amount of PTO/drive time to and from the service department.
  17. Bronco v. Wrangler v. 4Runner rock crawling off road comparison (TFL Off-Road - YouTube)

Is the traction control discrepancy mostly a software issue? Would love a software update on my base with open diffs that is akin to the A-Trac on my wife’s 4Runner. That thing also has a rear locker but it’s moot in many scenarios because the A-Trac is so good. With Trail Turn Assist on all...
  18. Bronco v. Wrangler v. 4Runner rock crawling off road comparison (TFL Off-Road - YouTube)

Unpopular opinion (I guess… 🤷): I like TFL. It’s entertaining and informative. Agreed, they don’t always do the most apples-apples comparisons, but I’m sure it isn’t easy to get the cars together to make that happen. It seems like the video shared does a good job of showing how those...
  19. .

Just had my front suspension apart this morning. Had to remove skids and crawl under as well. After two winters in Michigan, no rust other than a couple very superficial spots in the wheel well, in places that get a lot of direct road spray from tires. I’d imagine the rustproofing ends up...
