Depends upon the gear. Some of the solutions are glorified bungee cords (or semi-stretchable rubber like the wrangler hood tie-downs). And some are specific to the item - for example DMOS makes a mounting attachment for their shovels that works on the PakRax. A little time on Google usually...

Shovels, axes, high-lift jacks, recovery boards...pretty much the whole laundry list of the smaller things you'd mount on the roof.

Build-to-ship was 11 weeks for me. Then another 5 weeks to delivery. It's really a crap shoot.

Higher altitude stuff like the Wildrose area might be snowed in now (though likely gone by April). Bet bet is to call the ranger/visitor center. That will help with the pre-planning. Then you should stop by the VC to dial things in once you get there. The previously mentioned road closures...

Speed limiting cuts in at around 112 IIRC. It’s documented in the User Manual.

Yeah it will require CARB approval. Though I wouldn’t have to worry about it for 8 years (first smog check). 😉
