Having a tow package 100% worth it. $600? Absolutely not. It truly is just a reciever and wiring harness which you can get for $200 aftermarket, and it is not hard at all to install yourself.

Not a fan of how the running boards still leave the holes in the body exposed. Hopefully some after market products will cover that up.
