First off I'm a noob when it comes to wheel replacement. This is going to be the first vehicle I do so on. Given that SAS offset of +35 I agree there is a seriously limited pool of options for a straight up OEM swap from what I've seen. That said I've seen everything on the forum from 0 offset...
Im a fan. It looks good. I am very ambivalent about getting a winch though. I typically dont ride alone so i dont really see the utility in it for me. Also I really like the Baja designs strip lights for the front bumper and the fog plug kit they came out with.
I feel like the best thing about this post is they are catching the bad tops and replacing at this point. Alleviates my worries even though i dont have a build date yet.
I debated this for a while. Initial order was a non-squatch BL. I recently upped my order to the SAS simply because I dont want the headache later of new tires, new wheels, suspension, lift, cost to regear, labor etc. Now I’m just shopping for wheels and ill be set….well at least until:
- swing...
Definitely ordering the swing gate table, tow hitch, and door sills.
But bruh…I’m all about the mesh sunshade but I will be damned if I pay $300 for it. Will absolutely wait for the aftermarket $40 version from China.
I definitely plan on getting these, (silver for my AMB), buuuuuut definitely waiting till i get a build date. Since Im all but guaranteed to get bumped to MY22 i want to make sure AMB is still an option. If not ill switch to green and get the black ones.
So glad I went with AMB!!! I'm and October reservation with 4door hard top 2.7L and SAS so who knows when Ill be able to post my photo...these are nice to look at in the mean time though!
Given my order details and res time I'm all but guaranteed to be pushed to MY22 so I really hope they keep...
Im holding out. I dont need my ride until June 2022. Getting what i ordered one way or another. The only thing I anticipate possibly changing is AMB to Green
