I thought the Bronco was heavier, but I could be wrong and they have not put out final weight numbers. More than anything the tires will have an impact. I don't think gearing toward towing would impact much.
On the 4x4 Ranger the 2.3 gets 18-21 MPG. On a 4x4 F150 the 2.7 gets 17-20 MPG.
There is no way the 2.3 Bronco is going to get better than the 2.3 Ranger, I suspect it will get a little worse.
In the Mustang the 2.3 gets up to 32 MPG. There isn't a 2.7 option for the mustang but I would...
I have no love affair with V8s. I actually really like the 2.7 in this application, and would love to see the 3.0. What puzzles me is that there doesn't seem be any advantage to the 2.3 over the 2.7 - except in this case the Manual transmission.
Aside from the transmission, can you explain why...
You get more power from the V6, won't lose any MPG and the purchase price is going to be pretty insignificant. Why pick a 270 HP engine that gets 20 MPG when you can chose a 310 HP engine that gets 20 MPG? The cost difference between the two is going to come down to a few hundred dollars a year...
Right... power is "fine," but the MPG is what doesn't make sense. The 2.7 V6 will get the exact same MPG, and on the Sasquatch I could see the V6 even getting better. I really want the Manual trans, but I don't know that I can justify the 4 cylinder. (I think it is a great engine for cars where...
I'm using the price of the Wildtrack to guess what it's going to cost me to option up a Badlands with a V6 and "High package". Wildtrack does only have the "Mid package," but I'll be saving on tires and top, so I think it will be a wash.
Why in the world would someone want a 4 cylinder in that. Why in the world would anyone want a 4 cylinder that gets less than 25 MPG? Ford knows something I do not.
I need blacktop comfort and I like to max MPG, so I'll get a set of Cooper AT/3 or Toyo A/T2 tires. Maybe not right off the bat, I'll give the stock tires a go, but I would like to have a full set to swap out for times I want to do more off-roading.
This is one of those things that just got overlooked. Designer fatigue maybe. That blank spot is going to be a filth trap, just like a bellybutton. They could have at least not made the blank spot a crater, or gone one further and made it a blank aux switch.
Am I the only one who feels like dealerships will be saying whatever they think we want to hear until Oct. 31st?
Granger seems like the only dealership that sounds legitimate with their "guarantees" that I've seen, but after a plane ticket and 14 hour drive, I don't know that the savings will...
I'd like some inside info on why the Sheehy dealer that has my current reservation has been feeding me lines like, "you need to come in next week to order, we only have 37 reservations and they are half filled already." When I called B.S. they, replied with, "Oh that was for the Sport, regular...
I might like this. Ford made a real big deal about not having a center cross bar (roll bar) for "sky views" or whatever, but then incased the whole thing with an ugly ass cage. I'd prefer this. Pop of the front panel, and pop off the back cap. The roll bar only effects the rear seat passengers...
I'm only interested in the 2 door. So I'm glad they brought that back, but....
It's more niche than I thought it was going to be. I'd like if the Bronco Sport was the same exact body style of the Bronco but with much more basic equipment. The Bronco II comes to mind. Something without a turbo...
