  1. What's your favorite small detail so far?

I actually don't see a reason to take the roof off. This is basically just a sun roof at this point. I know they are beholden to modern safety regulations but I'd much rather have a cross bar than bars going from the posts to the windshield. Most I'll ever probably remove is the t-top area...
  2. More Broncos testing at Silver Lake Sand Dunes

I haven't been able to put my finger on it till seeing this photo, but they put the headlights on the 6G too far apart. Like 2-3 inches inward on each side would really give it the heritage look it's missing.
  3. Jeep releases 100k SUV.

Another SUV that looks like a mini-van, shocking.
  4. Anyone else checking out the new Jeep vehicles?

If I could get a 2 door wrangler with the turbo diesel, I'd be very interested. I don't think it will be likely that Ford would ever put on in a 2 door Bronco either so its whatever I guess.
  5. First Edition Bronco reservation on eBay for $15K

Real talk if I can get delivery in June 2021 (I reserved in the first hour) and can flip my badlands as I leave the lot for ~$10K I'm doing it. I honestly wonder if there will be a market for this. Set it up in advance for the next buyer to come to the dealer with you and cut you a check right...
  6. Financing the 2021 Bronco

22K is probably is underpriced for the Bandlands. Currently you can buy a 2016 4 door rubicon for 15K less than a 2020 (30K vs. 45K), which is still amazing resale relative to most cars, but also far from being "similar price to what you can get a new one for." The 4 year and 10 year marks are...
  7. Financing the 2021 Bronco

From personal experience student loans affected the rates I was offered not because of the total amount but because I didn't have them consolidated so to the banks it looked like 14 separate open loans. (I didn't consolidate because I didn't want to give up on certain benefits.) That being...
  8. Financing the 2021 Bronco

There is nothing stopping you from calling a few banks and credit unions right now to see what they would offer you on a $35,000 car loan (45k car with 10k down.) Given you have about 10 months before you can actually buy the car, you'll be able to either save for a bigger down payment/pay down...
  9. Financing the 2021 Bronco

Your credit score isn't the end all be all of the rates you'll be offered. The rates you are offered will be based on (in roughly this order) the amount of the loan, your debt to income ratio, your credit score, number of your active credit lines with balances, and the length of the loan. I...
  10. Sway Bar Disco Essentially Useless on IFS?

It's the one feature on the Badlands that I don't want. (Because I know I'll never use it.) But the Badlands is the only way to get the locking front diff w/out Sasquatch. So I'll probably end up with it.
  11. I just drove a new Ford Ranger w/ 2.3L from Alabama to Pennsylvania

So you're saying if both engines got 20 MPG you'd chose the engine with less power?
  12. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Are you saying that customers have to pay $265 WV state tax no matter what state the customer is registering in? I'll be registering in Oregon where there is no sales tax - it's amazing. (I'm military stationed over here, that's how I will be able to do this.)
  13. If Price was not an issue...

If price wasn't an issue I'd buy an ICON.
  14. You seasoned Ford Guys: your opinion on the 2.3 Turbo?

We are hung up on it because it has no significant advantage over the 2.7 - besides being the only way to get the manual. A $3,500 upgrade on a $40,000 vehicle isn't enough for anyone to say, "I just can't afford the 2.7l." MPG look like they will be within 1-2 MPG, again not enough for someone...
  15. You seasoned Ford Guys: your opinion on the 2.3 Turbo?

I'm waiting for the final MPG ratings to come out for each engine/trim. I'm not impressed with the 18-21 MPG rating from the 4x4 4 door ranger. I'll eat the $3,500 and the automatic transmission if both engine options get about 20 MPG on the highway. I'm really hoping the 2.3L comes with a clear...
  16. Why go for the mid package?

I'm probably going high just because of the 12 inch screen... which is frustrating.
  17. You seasoned Ford Guys: your opinion on the 2.3 Turbo?

I think the manual will also hold its value well. In 10 years or so when someone is looking for a used Bronco to drop a V8 in they will be looking for the manuals.
  18. Aftermarket parts wish list

It can't be stolen if it's not on your vehicle....
  19. White top. Why?

Eh... The bulky lego hard top just doesn't look "throwback" to me in any color. Painting it white would look like painting sheetrock to look like brick, it just doesn't look real. This bronco is far enough in design from the first gen that I don't like the idea of trying to force it to look...
  20. Aftermarket parts wish list

In case there are any aftermarket parts and accessories company representatives lurking, and just to kill time. What parts/accessories are you wishing for? Right off the bat I'll be looking for to replace a couple things that I just don't like the looks of: 1. The plastic fenders. I'd like to...
