    LOL, My two door base Sas handles like a sports car on pavement. 4Runners? Not even close. Bronco ride quality isn’t as good as Toyota, nor is NVH.

    Not necessarily true. Wheel choice will determine what you need to do - too many people use an offset that creates issues.

    I haven’t personally experienced damage of that type on any vehicle I’ve taken off road, nor witnessed it. You’ll always have a weak point somewhere. Just know what it is and drive accordingly.

    You’re decreasing ground clearance and adding weight. Probably should find out how many people have damaged their diff and/or axles from wheeling without these skids and then decide whether you are going to do more difficult trails than them.
