I'm buying from Granger, and I'm anticipating a plates/registration problem. Not with Granger, but the Illinois DMV.
I bet that it will take me longer to get the plates/registration at the local DMV than it will for me to drive 4.5 hours to Granger to pick up the truck.
A 2017 F-150 and 2001 corvette. Selling corvette in the spring - too tough to get in and out of. May buy a Wrangler to hold me over if it looks like I can't get a Bronco until 2023.
should Be a low cancellation rate for those with early reservations. i Suspect that the cancellation rate will increase over time, especially if it is unclear as to when you will get your Bronco.
Thanks again to the Stig and Ashley. Without them and others who have uploaded photos to this forum, I would not have had realistic images of what my Bronco would look like.
Thanks again Stig & Ashley! Damn that carbonized gray looks good. Sinister looking. And the white - I could zip around in that little white 2 door base.
I've thought about this a lot lately. I had a 2003 Jeep TJ in Arizona with only a soft top. and it was off for maybe 360 days a year.
But now I'm in Illinois. I'll probably go like this for my 2 door bronco:
MIC in winter
Soft top in spring and fall
No top or Bimini in summer
If there is a...
In the old days, the steelies had clips mounted on them for the hubcaps to be snapped onto.
I don't think that the Bronco steelies have any clips on them, but it may be possible to drill the wheel and mount clips to the wheel.
Here's how some people do it...
Thanks for the info! It doesn’t surprise me that the early buyers are shelling out more $ for higher trims and packages.
I don’t understand how Oxford white is on 8% of Broncos, but shows all zeros on the color matrix.
Snow looks great on the soft tops. I'm wondering if the top delay could also be the cause of the 2 door delay.
Maybe the 2 doors will be sold first to those wanting soft tops.
I'd rather have a soft top than a MIC top anyway - if the soft top folds down as far as my old Jeep's top.
Got 32" ko2's a month ago for my F-150. Best tires I've ever had in snow. Tested them yesterday driving through 8" of snow in 2 and 4 wd. Very good control. No sliding. Easy to start and stop. Pulled off road and got back on road with no problem. Extremely great traction. Gas mileage went...
I don't like any of the Bronco wheels. And I can't find any aftermarket wheels with the same specs (55mm offset) as Bronco wheels.
Lots of comments here that Ranger wheels are the same specs as Bronco wheels. If so, I should be able to order Ranger wheels for my Bronco, right?
Something like...
