    To be fair, Jeep fans, Ford fans, Chevy fans, etc. can also get to be a bit cringeworthy. For what I want in a vehicle, the Bronco currently strikes the best balance. If I had gone for a pickup, I would have likely gone for the Colorado with the Bison AEV package, etc.

    You should take an economics course. An increase in fuel efficiency, ceteris paribus, will shift the demand function towards the left. The result is a lower quantity of fuel sold at a lower price. Now, you might say that people will drive more because fuel costs less - but those extra trips...

    My old 4Runner was surprisingly capable bone stock. The new models really are a step backwards in many ways.

    I prefer to maximize my departure angle, which will change with a leveling kit - and not for the better. Seems a waste of time, effort and money for something practically imperceptible - and even then only when stationary - with minimal improvement off-road.

    I know that…but frankly it’s not a good idea unless you never carry anything in your cargo area, and “level” will change based upon where your passengers are sitting and your cargo is stowed.

    Have you cleaned all your tailgate seals and used some silicone lubricant like Shin Etsu? If not, do that first.

    There’s really no reason to not lift each end evenly. That being said, driving dynamics are going to change when you lift it. If you make the right choices, it might be not a huge difference, but making the wrong choices and result in it feeling like you’ve made a horrible mistake.
